Waits a Week to Txt Back

We had our first date last week. She txt'd me right after saying she had fun. I had a good time too and called her the next day (which is early, I know) since I only had 1 day free in the next 1.5 weeks to hang out and wanted to with her. Well, she waited until to today to txt me saying she was busy with work (which is of course a lame excuse).

 

Should I contact her back? To me it sounds like she's playing games and that really annoys me. I don't really care either way, just want opinions/good suggestions In fact I'm not even sure her name since I went on a few first dates in the past week and deleted a couple of the numbers

Hahaha, just move on, especially if you don't remember her name. Sounds like neither of you were in a "buying" mode.

"Texting can be difficult and time consuming. Thank you for putting a week of thought in your msg!"

Actually, with my personality, I might be able to pull that one off!

Hahaha, just type em out here, don't send them, it's what this place is for. If you still want to send them in a month, knock yourself out! I did have a buddy help me play a trick on a girl once by pretending to be the CDC though.

Why bother man? It will been deleted and forgotten.

 

You were too eager. Any time you have a choice between calling/texting/seeing a woman at one point in time or another point in time after that, you ALWAYS choose the later point in time.

 

For example: A woman says "I'm free this Thursday or next Tuesday." You ALWAYS pick next Tuesday.

 

Example: You're free tomorrow but you have a trip after that and won't be back for 2 weeks. Tell her you'll see her when you get back.

 

Example: It's late and you could either email her tonight or go to sleep and wait until tomorrow. Wait until tomorrow.

 

This is a hard and fast rule. It works 9 times out of 10.

Don't both texting her back. It does not take too much of her time to send you a text and, personally, I am no up for games. Plus, you probably forgot her name so just move on.

Don't text her back with a snide response, your silence is more effective.

Why did you post her if you dont want to date her? My guess is she doesn't know what she wants. It's all fluid even if you were to date her. Short term etc...
