He first contacted me, has asked me out on both occasions and has also asked me out at the weekend. We've had phone and text conversations in between dates and we seem to be on the same wavelength, with the same interests etc. I *think* he must like me, or why would he keep asking me out? But apart from a kiss on the cheek at the end of each date, he's not shown any other obvious signs. We've both been single for quite a while which is quite obvious as we're awkward with things! I'm all for taking things slow, but I'd really like to know if there's a future with us (and I don't mean anything heavy!). How do I tell him I like him? I'm not young or inexperienced, but I've never been in this situation before - it's all new to me and I don't know what to do / think. Any thoughts?
Zeegagge Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 He's probably just shy or not wanting to be too forward with you and scare you off. Maybe try initiating a lot of physical contact and see how he responds to it. Maybe even just kiss him next time you go out.

You dont have to tell him you like him, SHOW him you like him. He is probably working off your body language, and youre not giving him any cues to move forward. You have to flirt and touch him more so he knows youre really into him. Dont make him do all the work!

Practice my dear Grace, practice...hes the best guy to practice on. You can start slow, lots of smiles, eye contact and light touching. Im sure its in you naturally, you just have to let it out.
