I've known this girl Ashley at college for pretty much the whole year now, she's a sophomore and I'm a freshmen. We have been friends since early last semester hanging out pretty much every day usually just going to get something to eat. I've recently really started to like her but it seems like we've been friends for so long it's too late to do anything about it. One of the first nights we hung out I think she was trying to hook up with me since we were watching a movie at her place and she kept scooting closer and closer until she was leaning on me but I just didn't make a move(wow I regret it). She hasn't tried since then at all.. Months later when we were both drunk at her place really late and sitting on her bed I asked if she wanted to lay down but she said no so I feel like I have no chance.

I couldn't care less about a random hook up with her or her as a f buddy.. I would just love to be in a relationship with her but I can't figure out how to say it or what I should do. Does anybody have any advice on how to suggest that I like her without just flat out saying it? The thing that worries me is that she is friends with mostly all guys and she doesn't really have any girl friends so I'm worried I'm just another one of those guy friends.

How can I pull this off? I'm terrible at flirting so I can never really "put on the moves". I really appreciate any tips or suggestions. Thanks

You could casually ask her if she's ever thought of you in a romantic way... or be bolder and say something like, "you love me don't ya?" in a teasing way to see how she reacts...

Actually, I just had a good friend of mine state after hanging out for quite a while that he was dying to kiss me... it was a surprise, but a great surprise.

Thanks. Any other opinions? I think it would be a good idea to have a few people's perspective on it.
