In_Repair Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 Damn Jason, you really dropped the freakin ball there man. Lol. It happens. I've let some nice opportunities slip through my fingers in the same way. It's easy to fix though, just go back for more coffee. As for the whole idea about looking too desperate, how did she look to you when she drew that heart on your ticket? Did you think to yourself "damn that chick is desperate", or were you simply flattered? Don't assume the worst. Instead of looking desperate, she might think you have balls for coming into her workplace in front of everyone and asking her out. She might also feel that she must have made a really good impression on you the last time she saw you, which is flattering to her. If she isn't interested... then go on back over to the store where the other chick is and work your magic on her. I've always really enjoyed meeting women this way. It provides ample subject matter for discussion and you already know that they are interested in you, which takes away some pressure and allows you to act more naturally. My girlfriend and I met at the restaurant where she works. I had just picked up my kids and didn't want to go home and cook, so we went out for dinner instead. When she asked "so where is mommy tonight?" I knew that I had her. Lol
