espec10001 Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 The percentage you listed is really bogus. What a way to drag most men down in the gutter Well it's women in the movies, isn't it? Which is more at fault, the females making it or the males watching it?
homersheineken Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 lol... Its the ones who actually abstain from porn who are the creepy weirdos. For the most part Porn prevents acting out in sexual frustration, it doesnt cause it. Yep current research seems to indicate that... http://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=913013
MissJoness Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Well it's women in the movies, isn't it? Which is more at fault, the females making it or the males watching it? Both. and when men start watching porn all the time they start venturing into other things like tranny sex, etc. trash. no telling what else
FryFish Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 closer to 99.95% ... I mean seriously, I am not totally creeped out by 1 in every 20 guys.
MissJoness Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 closer to 99.95% ... I mean seriously, I am not totally creeped out by 1 in every 20 guys. I don't believe that at all. Some of the male posters addicted to pornography are just exaggerating the numbers to make themselves feel less guilty..
FryFish Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 I dont feel guilty... Im not addicted to porn but I certainly am not ashamed that I watch it. it is Normal and Healthy to do so. The guys that never watch any porn are the creepy weirdos. They are either SERIOUSLY F'd up in the head or they have some sort of problem with their junk. You claim that your dad was normal, well that means he very probably watched porn. And porn is NOT a gateway to bigger badder things. Check out the link that homer posted.
SOLACEMENT Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Both. and when men start watching porn all the time they start venturing into other things like tranny sex, etc. trash. no telling what else Say what?...I am pretty sure if a guy(gal) wants to be into this...he sure as hell won't get the idea from watching porn "As John sat watching the strapping young man..have sexual relations with this women..he suddenly realized he liked the stick more than the hole" Porn is to BLAME!

How are you going to say that someone who does not watch porn is a creepy weirdo when you are the one sitting in front of a computer doing God knows what watching other people have sex? No telling what kind of germs are on that keyboard and mousepad after you finish. I wuoldn't even touch a keyboard if I knew a guy sat in front of it jacking off; its probably dirty and totally unsanitary. You do feel guilty because you wouldn't be saying that. And when you watch porn all the time, you become so desensitized that you start looking at all kinds of bizarre sexual acts. Some men start looking at tranny porn and all kinds of creepy stuff because the normal sex doesn't arouse them anymore. And stop saying my father watched porn, unless you know him and lived in his household you are in no place to say that. I know for a fact that he didn't watch any of that and I would know more than you Edited February 2, 2010 by MissJoness
FryFish Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 How are you going to say that someone who does not watch porn is a creepy weirdo when you are the one sitting in front of a computer doing God knows what watching other people have sex?Because Im normal. You do feel guilty because you wouldn't be saying that.lol. No I dont feel guilty. If I felt guilty I would lie about it. And stop saying my father watched porn, unless you know him and lived in his household you are in no place to say that.Your father watched porn. I know for a fact that he didn't watch any of that and I would know more than you Its creepy that you would think you would know your fathers sexual habits... Its kinda gross for you to state as fact what your father may or may not be doing with his penis. I never think about MY fathers penis...

Funny, research also shows that those most against porn (conservatives, Utah, Alaska), watch the most of it. It's the suppressing of porn that is the problem (like with just about every idea), not the entertainment by it... http://blogs.computerworld.com/online_porn http://abcnews.go.com/Technology/Business/story?id=6977202&page=1

MissJoness Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Funny, research also shows that those most against porn (conservatives, Utah, Alaska), watch the most of it. Its the men that become so heavily addicted to porn that they'd rather watch it and jerk off than have sex with their wife/girlfriend. I bet a lot of the females that these men are viewing are not even of age.
homersheineken Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 No its not. Its the men that become so heavily addicted to porn that they'd rather watch it and jerk off than have sex with their wife/girlfriend. Your argument is so generalizing and based on conjecture that it's pretty sad. I post research, you post a closed minded opinion. Would you like to keep trying?
MissJoness Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Your argument is so generalizing and based on conjecture that it's pretty sad. I post research, you post a closed minded opinion. Would you like to keep trying? Nope. Because I have yet to run across a guy who watches porn on a regular basis that does not come across as a creep
FryFish Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 No its not. Its the men that become so heavily addicted to porn that they'd rather watch it and jerk off than have sex with their wife/girlfriend. I bet a lot of the females that these men are viewing are not even of age. This is completely false. Extensive records are kept to ensure the safety of the performers AND the industry as a whole. Its true that some men become addicted to porn and it becomes an unhealthy outlet for them... Just as its true that MOST men, including your father, watch porn.
MissJoness Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 This is completely false. Extensive records are kept to ensure the safety of the performers AND the industry as a whole. Its true that some men become addicted to porn and it becomes an unhealthy outlet for them... Just as its true that MOST men, including your father, watch porn. My father did NOT watch porn. And you have no right to say that he does because you do NOT know him like that. No they do not. There are underage girls all over the internet featured in porn all the time. Anybody can upload pornography themselves featuring an underaged girl online and show it on the web.
homersheineken Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Nope. Because I have yet to run across a guy who watches porn on a regular basis that does not come across as a creep I didn't think so. Because now you're changing the topic from porn viewer to porn addict. So let's see you're prejudiced against certain types of people who have sex, invoke conjecture, generalizations and stereotypes and conveniently change the topic to suit you ... Are you sure you don't want to keep opening your mouth here (no pun intended)...
FryFish Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 My father did NOT watch porn.Yes he did. And you have no right to say that he does because you do NOT know him like that. But its ok for you to make assumptions about me? There are underage girls all over the internet featured in porn all the timeProve it. Anybody can upload pornography themselves featuring an underaged girl online and show it on the web. And the authorities can and DO trace IP addresses of people who upload evidence of themselves committing felonies. They then act on the trace and arrest these people. And how would you know what porn is on the internet? Are you watching it yourself or is your dad telling you what he finds?
MissJoness Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 And the authorities can and DO trace IP addresses of people who upload evidence of themselves committing felonies. They then act on the trace and arrest these people. And how would you know what porn is on the internet? Are you watching it yourself or is your dad telling you what he finds? the police cannot monitor everything. and being that most men are just trying to get their rocks off I doubt they care either
MissJoness Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 I didn't think so. Because now you're changing the topic from porn viewer to porn addict. Are you sure you don't want to keep opening your mouth here (no pun intended)... If you're viewing porn on a regular basis than youre an addict to me. And someone I would not trust to be in a committed relationship at all. No telling what other inappropriate things you may venture off and look at when I am not around (child/underage pornography/weird fetishes). Its so easy to caught up in that mess since its one click away..
FryFish Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Its so easy to caught up in that mess since its one click away..You post as if you have PERSONAL experience with this. So what kinds of things did you end up getting into? And just because YOU couldnt control yourself doesnt mean that most men cannot. and being that most men are just trying to get their rocks off I doubt they care either So you admit that MOST MEN look at porn. And MOST MEN want to avoid hard federal prison time so MOST MEN do care.
Green Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 1. When you're in a serious, committed relationship do you continue to regularly view porn assuming that you're being satisfied sexually by your partner? No I wouldn't view porn if being regularly sexually satisfied. 2. Does the frequency with which you view or whether you view it at all correspond to how strongly you feel about your partner? In other words, do you still look at porn when you're completely head over heels for a woman and getting regular sex with her? I wouldn't have sex or be romanticaly involved with a girl I wasn't completly into. 3. Do you imagine having sex with your SO when looking at the porn? I don't like looking at porn anymore, but yes I did imagine my SO when I used to look at porn.
FryFish Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 I don't like looking at porn anymoreWhy? What changed? edit: is this a case of your SO reading over your shoulder?
MissJoness Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 You post as if you have PERSONAL experience with this. So what kinds of things did you end up getting into? And just because YOU couldnt control yourself doesnt mean that most men cannot. So you admit that MOST MEN look at porn. And MOST MEN want to avoid hard federal prison time so MOST MEN do care. I did not get caught up into anything. But for men who do look at porn regularly, most probably do end up looking at shameful things that could get them locked away. If the men who do look at that stuff could control themselves they wouldn't be looking at that mess all the time anyway. If a guy tells me he has a whole collection of porn on his computer, his value in my eyes goes downhill. He is not relationship or marriage material at all. I stay away from him. I met a guy, and went onto his computer to find a bunch of porn icons and porn sites found in history. Total creep. He viewed porn all day long. Trifling.
