"You're cute" "I like you" "Want to go out to lunch?" instead you must strategize, look at your surrounding, read more news articles, know your domain. Never force yourself to talk to her. See what's funny, and make a comment about it to her. And start talking about interests, and hobbies. Or give a compliment on something she is wearing/carrying. NEVER compliment on her features such as eyes, nose, lips, smile... she was born with them and has no choice... compliment on something she put effort into, like clothing, hair style, shoes... etc. Only compliment on her features after a few dates and when you two are into each other more. See if you can get the conversation going for a few minutes. Then pretend you have to go somewhere, and say "hey i would love to continue this chat another time, can I get your number?" OR/AND, you can follow up with a request for a date on the spot AFTER getting the number, like "You got time tomorrow? Let's meet up (somewhere nearby), I would want to hear more about your (insert hobby here)." If you do not make the request for the date on the spot, you got her number, and you can call her later and request a date over the phone. From my experiences, you will not always succeed. I don't have any statistics or anything. Depending on her age, she will immediately pick up your motive. If she's interested, she will make time for you, if not, then she will not.
