I will say without reservation that ANY HUMAN BEING, no matter how aesthetically challenged they may be or how lacking in intelligence or personality, can find a suitable person to date or marry. That's just the way the world is set up. We don't need threads that comment on people's looks and we don't need threads that put down average people...because most of us are average. The most beautiful woman alive may be just average looking to some. The most ugly male may be wonderful looking to some women. I always looked at Marilyn Monroe and wondered why anybody would have found her attractive. I am told that she was considered very beautiful. Personally, I wouldn't have given her a second look even if she offered to sell me a bar of World's Finest Chocolate at half price. NO MORE OF THESE CRAZY THREADS!!! THEY SERVE NO PURPOSE AND WILL BE DELETED!!! If you can put something up that is intelligent and that helps people in some way...then those will remain up. Many thanks!

Regrettably, these types of threads degenerate very quickly, become sarcastic, highly personal, mean spirited, off topic, etc. and are extremely problematic to monitor. If someone is very concerned about their appearance and has gotten a great deal of negative feedback in the real world they should see a beauty consultant or cosmetologist....NOT ask people on an Internet forum who can't even see them in person.

All they do is provide a place to moan, insult, whatever, they aren't of any use. Most people are average. Just we like to categorize certain groups...obese, beta males etc, into the average group rather than looking at people as individuals.

Frankly, if you all think it's 100% about looks then you're fooling yourself. They count for a lot, but I see pretty nice girls get used and pretty nice guys get rejected still. Deal with it.
