Question above.

I would paraphrase your question by asking the following ...

What is the difference between ATTRACTION & AFFECTION?

Attraction has to do with building a sexual tension ... passion ...

Affection is establishing long-term commitment with someone, that usually turns out to be more into the Friend-Zone.

In other words, attraction is that part that leads to sex & sexual relationship, whereas affection leads to niceness, careness with the lack of sexual interest from the woman.

Love allows for growth. Infatuation smothers it.

Love is a commitment that goes beyond just those fuzzy and warm feelings. Infatuation is those butterflies that are caused by someone.

Infatuation wants to experience more wonderful feelings and is selfish. Love wants to give those wonderful feelings and is selfless.

Love is not caused by another person, it is a self-hypnosis. It is the trance you are putting yourself into, caused by yourself.

As we loop our thoughts over & over around a concept of a particular person, our mind shifts the way we perceive her/him and suddenly everything make sence.

Love lasts, infatuation dies. I do believe that in order for love to happen, you have to start with infatuation. During the infatuation phase, you don't know the other person well, so you fill in the blanks. Love happens after you get to know the other person and if you don't like what you see, infatuation will die and not move to love.

If it love it's always there. If it's infatuation it fades. This quote sums up love pretty darn well.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
