I was tooling around the house doing my Susy Homemaker chores, when I spied a piece of Jolly Rancher candy. Green Apple! My Fav! So I pop it into my mouth, going about my daily routine. All of a sudden? I realized that part of this candy isn't candy? I'm like WTF? I spit the candy out ~ and part of its not candy ~ it tooth. I broke a tooth! No~biggie~da! That's why dentist have jobs! I call and make an appointment. This was on Monday ~ my appointment is for the following Tuesday of the following week. By Friday I'm on the phone to my Dr. begging to get in somehow, way shape or fashion. My right side of my face is swollen to about half the size of a small cantaloupe. For the last week I've been out of work and laid up in the bed on pain medications and anti-biotics. Finally got to the dentist, and I'm much better than I was. Just wanted to explain why I've not been posting and slow in answering PM's and such. BTW, if anyone likes Jolly Rancher Candy, let me know! I've got about half a bag left!

Butterflair Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 I'm a notorious ice chewer, after I broke a tooth I've had to try to quit. Not fun at all, glad to hear you got it fixed and doing better. Btw.. even though I'm new, I feel like I know you since I lurked for so long.
