Boundary Problem Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 I recently dated (couple dates, nothing serious) a guy and am told by friends he is a somatic narcissist. And as I read up on it - I realize that my brother is one too. My brother lives in the same building as me and whenever I see him, he's with another girl. He avoid holiday functions, because we all notice he brings someone new everytime. So I'm trying to figure out what to do with this info. And I think I'll do nothing. He's family, and that won't change. And these women all seem happy when they are with him (until he dumps them I'm sure). But it is sort of wierd to see your family members as people, rather than just Mary, Jane etc. Sort of like realizing your parents did have sex, at least at one time. We are a pretty open family and my brother had told me he was in couselling. He recently changed jobs and I thought it was to do with that.
