My girlfriend and I have been together for 5 months now, just recently she was really stressed and started bitching on me, then it came to a conclusion where she wanted to break up but she said after it that she couldnt because she hasnt loved anyone so long and so strongly. This happened about a week ago and now, she is totally ignoring me, not looking at me, she reads my emails but she doesnt reply to them. I dont know if she's just really stressed or she's loosing feelings for me, and probably want to break up, i tried asking her what was wrong and she doesnt reply to my emails. Should I give her space and time to think for herself or should i end our relationship, I really love her but its hurting me that she is now starting to ignore me. If she was to loose feelings why does it happen so soon? just a week ago she confessed to me that I was the guy she wanted to be with and that she loves me. So i dont know if she's just stressed or loosing feelings for me. what should i do? im really starting to freak out, and I just feel like i want to commit suicide at this very moment, i dont have anyone to talk to or help me with my problems so i posted here.

also it seemed so quick because just two days ago i surprised her at school with a lunch and hugged her, she smiled, she kissed me, she loved the food. I waited for her school to end because she promised to see me after school, so i did. and when she came to me she said that she could only see me for 2 minutes because she has tutoring, and i believe her because i walked her to her classroom. then the day after that she started talking to me as if she doesnt care anymore... what is this?!?! im confused, stressed, sad.

Wanting to commit suicide over a relationship gone awry suggests codependency. Consider breaking up and getting yourself together. Talking to a professional might be best. A partner shouldn't give anyone the will to live.

Hey bro...I'm assuming you are young. NO PERSON IS WORTH NOT LIVING. Trust me, I went thru some brutal pain in college and it hurt. That was 20 years ago and now I'm going thru it again and it sucks, but I know the pain will go away eventually.

My suggestion to you is to back off and give her some space. Just don't hound her or ask her a ton of questions. It is very important you play it cool.

Just keep posting on this thread for advice. It's helped me a lot.
