Green Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 I often hear some variation of "If I could travel back in time to when I was young in HS I'd be great with women." First I say bull. Who says this any ways. When I've heard it said it was by my friends in their twenties who guess what, DONT DO GOOD WITH GIRLS now. I say the only way you can make this statement is if you do good with girls now. What does it even mean to do good with girls any ways. I choose to have a gf, I think its fun to be single and hit on girls but I much rather be in a relationship and share experiences with one special person. Anyways to get back on track I did horible with women back in HS and not that much better in college. My point is I was doing well with girls before I got my seriouse gf after college but if I personaly went back in time or better yet was just forced into a 15 or 16 year old body and plopped into a current HS I would probably suck with women and be even worse off then I was first time around. Thoughts
DiscoChick Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 I hated everyone in high school. I graduated and felt free. I dated one guy in high school for eight months. It was a complete ruse. It was something to pass the time. I mean, it's high school! I wouldn't go back to high school for anything. no one understood me, and I still don't understand people. I do love everyone now, but my chances in high school were nil; none of my peers were attractive. The one guy I found attractive seemed to like me, but we were friends. My chances now are still pretty much nil. Getting older is so much fun.
Jesper Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 If I could go back to HS I would rock at life. At least for the next 10 years.
Author Green Posted January 27, 2010 Author Posted January 27, 2010 This thread was about guys who say that stupid line. But glad to see other peopled disliked HS, and you already rock at life, I can tell
threebyfate Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Living in the past, is such a waste of time and energy. As well, people tend to forget the bad that happened in the past, glossing it over with golden memories. Better to live in the now and for the future. While good and bad things have happened to me in the past, without them, I wouldn't be where I am now, where I want to be.
phineas Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 I was such a dork in high school when it came to women. I was afraid of girls that liked me. And that was if I i noticed they liked me. I was and still do suffer from severe clueless male syndrome. Sometimes ya gotta wright it on a 2x4 & tattoo it on my forehead by smacking me upside the head with it before it dawns on me a woman is interested. But, I wouldn't want to go back to high school. I don't even want to go to my 20yr reunion. LOL!
