RyTom21 Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Let me start off by saying that I am completely heterosexual. Having said that, I'm not a typical guys guy. I hate sports, i like drinks like mikes hard lemonade and smirnoff ice, i notice attractive men and I dont feel weird saying if a guy is good looking, i like bands like maroon 5 and the five for fighting, I cry, i get emotional, I watch chick flicks, I hate beer, and the list goes on. I'm basically J.D. from Scrubs...If anyone watches that show, they will know what I mean. I just want to be normal. No woman wants to date a guy who has the traits and interests of a woman. I guess I'm just hoping that someone will tell me I'm not alone here.
OpenGL Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Don't worry I hate myself too, although for completely different reasons.

I don't think those drinks you list are that sissy, but women do expect you to be manly.. I have a pretty deep voice,a nd besides my bidet, my scentstories players (I have 2 of them) I'm pretty much a typical guy, I only clean my place once a week, oh I have 2 cats, that's really manly.. I'll say, i don't have the interests of a woman. I like sports, but don't love sports. I am fascinated my militaria. I love war movies, I love museums about war, I love the outdoors...
meerkat stew Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Your angle could be going to gay clubs and talking to the hot women that are inevitably in there late night. Act kind of overtly gay and friendly, dance with them, then drop some subtle hints that you are questioning your sexuality and tell the women you've never actually had hetero sex. You should be hauling em in by the boatload before you know it, and you can always keep the "gay card" as an ace in the hole when they start getting clingy, "Oh I think I'm turning gay again, sorry!" See, you don't have it so bad, just a matter of perspective. Take the hand you are dealt and make it work.
Woggle Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Just be you and if somebody has a problem with it tell them to take a hike. 90% of attractiveness is attitude. Trust me on that one. If I want to have a fruity drink I will and if somebody has a problem with it that is their issue.
Zeegagge Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Hang out at coffee shops and book stores, those chicks love dudes like you. Just be sure that they are sure of they're sexuality first, a lot of those chicks are a little confused...

This is a form of social conditioning. All stuff you watch on TV is crap ... well almost everything. It has nothing to do with the REAL life. If you have feminine interests it may work FOR YOU in meeting women. But the only thing that matters is BEING in control all the time. Most women love to be guided by a man. Stop seeking for approval and stop beeing a wussy. It doesn't matter what kind of interests you have. It is about how you react upon certain situation when you meet women. If you have this kind of NICE behavior with women, you will never get an intimate relationship with a woman, but only a FRIENDSHIP. So stop acting like a woman, and be A MAN.
lino Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 I've noticed that these days, guys similar to you are pulling heaps of women. Nice looking ones too! If it was 10 or more years ago I think you'd be less favourable with the ladies but right now the type of guy you're describing does real well with women. A lot of male celebrities have that thing going on too.
