Well, we all know Valentine's Day is coming up and most of us, like me, probably don't have anyone to partake in the "festivities". However, I really don't wanna be left out. I've come up with this outrageous idea to win the day though.

Note: I purchased a Blackberry 8300 cell phone from ebay. Both targets have the Cellular South coverage so either one could use it.

Candidate one: There's this lady Ive totally been crushing on. She's pretty much the greatest girl on our campus. Homecoming Queen, President of the Greek Council, SGA Secretary, and shes going to be inducted into the Hall of Fame of our university when she graduates. I tried to be with her but I got shutdown on facebook hardcore. Here's how it went

"I hope all is well! Hope your summer is going great, and you are enjoying a much needed break. i just wanted to say that I appreciate all of the wonderful fb gifts, msgs, and just genuine concern that you have extended to me. It does not go unnoticed. I am flattered that you think so highly of me, and am humbled by your words. For that, I thankyou. However, I am not interested in pursuing a relationship with you. We can be cool and/or acquaintences, but that is as far as I am willing to take it. I hope I have not upset you in any way, but I feel it was necessary to be honest with you. No one deserves to be lead on, especially when feelings are involved. I usually would discuss something like this verbally, but honestly I didn't know how. Again, just wanted to make the msg clear, and I hope you understand. No hard feelings whatsoever.

Take care,"

I still have feelings for her but, something makes me feel bad everytime I think about her but I think she's a candidate for my grandiose gift.

Candidate two: My friend's best friend. I met her two weeks ago and she's pretty nice. She's in love with him but he's bi-sexual and hes not that interested in her. He's already given me the blessing to attempt to be with her, but its like all she sees is him. He's already informed her that he's not interested but she hasn't quite given up yet?

That's pretty much it...I know this sounds off...but it's the best plan I can come up with.

both are hopeless. Valentine's Day is a waste of money.

If I were in your shoes, I would try to develop a Plan C.

It might be just me but to me Valentine's day is all about romancing the one who has your heart, not buying cell phones for one of many girls who you are trying to get them to notice you.

Don't give any of them a cell phone, and if you really want to give one a valentines day gift then give the one you are trying to romance some roses..

I know.. Cliche, but in your case Cliche is all that is really available

Best response. Why are you buying a cell phone? That's crazy. What if they both reject you? You will have a phone you won't even need. Was it expensive? I wouldn't dream of buying anyone a cell phone unless it was my mom. I'm so glad I'm not a guy. :lmao: Boy, would the chicks I date call me a selfish *******...oh, wait, I get the last part of the insult all the time. Forget about it.

Sell the phone back, buy some pizza and drinks, rent some movies, and eat and drink until you're pooped. My day will be very similar to this. Minus the alcoholic drinks. I don't do alcohol. I can't even eat as much as I'd like. :( Wow. I was depressed for five whole seconds there! Darn you.

Why, get her a phone so she can take late night booty calls from the guys she has sex with?
