JazzFan Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 It would have been disastrous if I had married my high school sweetheart. We've both changed dramatically in the few years that have followed our high school graduation, and probably will continue to do so. People are living longer and marriage is failing almost as often as it succeeds (maybe even more). However, it really depends how you want to look at it. If you were thinking about the probability of your success in numbers, it would not look very good at all. But if you were a bit more optimistic, then you'd realize that everything is subjective, and a strong relationship will stand the test of time and difference.
Author cogent_love Posted January 27, 2010 Author Posted January 27, 2010 I do believe in that. I think it requires a knowledge of how to grow together, and what tools are needed as well as a strong desire at every stage of the relationship. (Obviously more.... )
