Girl I dated, she broke it off cause of school, and here we go.

So, story goes we dated for 4months, I really liked her despite her having baggage (ex-boyfriend). At first I had the internal alarm ringing when I heard that.Im the type of guy that really doesn't stress women, I mean theres sooooo many women out there that if I dont like what I hear about a women or something I dont agree with im preety much gone. I dont linger over exes, Once there my ex, I never look at their face again no matter what. No hi's, bye's or friendships(i have enough friends). Anyways, me and this girl broke up, I wanted to break it off numerous times due to her being so clingy and not understanding that I go to school, I work fulltime, and my step mom passed from cancer and left behind a three year old brother who is my life. She keeps telling me I don't spend enough time with her or whatever. I finally decided to try too. Long story short, she tells me were better off as friends. I told her that I dont need friends, if she wants this then im gone. She said this hurts her, but I told her thats my policy. Anyways, shes texts me on new years, I caved in due to my feelings for her, and told her happy new years and we chatted, we spoke often afterwards, then out of the blue, she stopped talking to me for exactly 2 + weeks. I really do like her, I care for her. I finally am leaning towards just shutting her out and putting her in the past. Problem is, I care for her, but Im an all or nothing kind of person, I dont want a friendship. What would you guys do in my position?

My ex is still trying to be my friend. Best thing i did was to tell her flat out. I dont want to be ur friend, i cant be friends with someone i want more from and so if u feel u want to more than friends than call me, other than that peace out. I love me ex to death and were together 3 years but i cant just go to being friends. Yea we want them back soo badly but if they want something else then u gotta move on bro and do no contact and then if she realizes she wants more than friends she will let u know
