ex wont leave me alone, keeps stopping me from moving on & is convinced i cheated.

my ex left me for someone else 6 weeks ago and is saying he is blissfully happy.

i treeated him really well, never even looked at anyone else, my ex always used my phone so knew nothing was going on with anyone.

 

So anyway a few days ago i get an email saying "i love you" and i ignore it thinking it couldnt possibly be my ex.

I was fed up of having his stuff and he wouldnt come get it so i dumped it on his doorstep.

There was a tshirt in there taht didnt belong to him and that i can only assume is my brothers.

 

So today i get a message on my facebook from a random account (had blocked his actual account) and a hotmail message saying that i'm such a slut, that i'm bad news and that his best mate saw me with loads of blokes while we were together. He swears i cheated and calls me all the names under the sun.

Ignore, ignore, ignore. For whatever reason, he wants a reaction from you. Don't give it to him. Save the emails and messages so that you have a record in case you ever need one, and don't reply.

 

As for why? God knows. Anybody else got any suggestions?

He knows he made a mistake by leaving and is trying to convince himself. Either that, or he's just an immature twat who thinks it might be a good way to impress the woman he's now with. It's best not to respond to it, but I wouldn't delete it just yet. Block his hotmail account, but keep a copy of the message somewhere. It might be a handy thing to show the police if you decide on a restraining order down the track.

Some guys are just very immature and don't know how to let someone they love go. If he still has feelings for you, which I'm betting he does, he has a terrible way of showing it. It will only push you away more and more.

 

My ex's ex boyfriend would do the same thing, calling her every name in the book. Then, the very next day, would say he was sorry and that he loves her, blah, blah, blah. If you can't show a woman respect, you don't deserve to have her.

 

Ignore the emails.
