txsilkysmoothe Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 There is a lot of discussion about the ease of dating for Good-looking people or the difficulty of dating for Average-looking people. I think we all agree that Good-looking people have more opportunities to date, but do these opportunities translate into long term relationships? I believe that Good-looking people are more likely to experience “brief involvements” or “short-term relationships” whereas Average-looking People are more likely to find “long-term relationships.” When I began to look at why I think Good-looking people are less likely to find a “long-term relationship,” my reasons cast them in a bad light. That surprised me and I don’t believe it to be accurate. So I'm looking for other opinions. In comparing the two groups, Good-looking People vs. Average-looking People, which group do you believe produces the highest percentage of long term relationships? And why?
