bananaboat11 Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 I don't hate women. I simply see them for what they are. Not ALL women... but most in my opinion...
ella23 Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 Not ALL women... but most in my opinion... What about most women?
citygal1 Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 I think many ( not all ) men and women aren't looking for a serious relationship when they are in their early 20s. They often just recently finished college. They want to concentrate on establishing a career and having some fun before potentially settling down.
yah Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 Once she learns you're a grad student... in her head she brands you an elite status and is infatuated by that... if she was attracted to you before... it's 10 fold. Haha! I find that funny b/c I'm a grad student as well, in a similar line of research, will receive a PhD in ~3yrs and would never date someone in a similar situation as me. I've never heard of PhD candidates being branded as anything other than a bookworm and I'm female. Just sayin'! Anyway, to OP, I think more guys in their early 20s (by this I mean recent college grads 22-25) are looking to date for fun or to see what is out there before settling down in their later 20s. Early 20s is a great time to date without the pressure of marriage because you still have years ahead of you before friends start to wed and family gives you pressure.
