SweetBaby06 i am an ex international racing cyclist and know a bit about fitness...

it is recommended that the maximum weight you should lose a week is 2 pounds, this is doable within 10 weeks and very doable by May which is 16 weeks, this you can do!

weight watchers will work if you stick to it, diet is very important

the thing with exercise is you have to build it up so if you increase your intensity and time you will steadily lose weight, you will want to be doing more than 30mins after a while...

don't just do the treadmill, go walking uphills etc. for a few hours, it all relates to the work you put in!

important thing is "no pain no gain" , this we cannot escape from, if you aren't hurting during your exercise then it isn't as effective as it should be, you should get discomfort followed by the exercise high which is a nice experience...

your metabolism is increased up to 24 hours after a session which means calories burned meaning weight loss

BUT you gotta hurt first!

trust me done it most of my life!!!

I completely agree with BrainRightHeartWrong. Losing weight is something that you have to do gradually. It is not healthy for you to lose 20 lbs in 4 months. Well, not quite.. I guess depending on how much you weigh at the moment. But regardless, losing too much weight in a short amount of time, will only lead you to a crash diet. Gradually losing the fat is the best way to go. I hate the treadmill, and I hate running, but it does work. You have to keep working on it, and you have to build up your stamina. Most importantly, other than the treadmill, you should lift weights. I cannot stress that enough! Toning up your muscles will not only help you speed up your metabolism, but it will also keep you from looking flabby. Muscles weighs more than fat, but in actuality, you will look a lot better with muscles, as oppose to just trying to strictly lose the weight. As for your abs, it is actually the first thing that goes when you start to lose the weight. Try other forms of crunches, or use the ab ball... and to maintain a flat stomach, you must work on it everyday.. well that is my theory. If you don't like using weights, you could try swimming. Swimming is another good way of building up muscles.
