KRIZZYBELLE Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 This guy and I met almost 5 years ago and we were good friends until we turned our friendship into a romantic situation in 2008. We both were passing trough divorce but one day he just walked away from me in order to work out his relationship with his ex and their baby. We did not kept in touch for a year because I respected his decision. Last October he wrote me a message and we met for some drinks...his relationship with his ex did not work and he eventually had other 2 relationships during the year that we were apart.....after some flirting later that night we kissed and we started to past some time together during that week but suddenly he walked away again. I am not quite sure why? he never gave me an explanation and I feel that maybe I did pressure him to act on something that he was not ready for? next week he will be celebrating his birthday and I would like to salute him and offer him to be friends in good terms. Please give me some advice...Thank you.
counterman Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 It was as much his decision as it was yours to flirt and kiss, so don't think you pressured him into anything. He walked away consciously without giving you a reason, which shows a bit of disrespect. Don't go chasing him down for an answer and just leave it. But, in saying that, if you want to be friends, when (if) he contacts you again, bring it up and make sure that you mean it so that nothing romantic or the like happens again.

However, he doesn't see it the same way. Maybe he will never write or contact me again but I will keep my head up because I did not do anything wrong. Is time to move on.
