theBrokenMuse Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 http://www.amazon.com/Woman-Scorned-Jeff-Allin/dp/B000BKDNVM/ref=pd_sim_b_3 would they make a movie about a man murdering his ex wife? Wasn't a man murdering his cheating ex-wife and her lover the plot in Secret Window?
Woggle Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 Women can commit the most heinous crimes yet somehow be thought of as heroes.
theBrokenMuse Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 I also remember a movie where the plot was about a carpenter whose wife tries to kill him so she can take off with all his insurance money with the guy she's been sleeping with and he gets revenge on her: Buries her alive in a coffin with her lover that he had already killed.
Woggle Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 I also remember a movie where the plot was about a carpenter whose wife tries to kill him so she can take off with all his insurance money with the guy she's been sleeping with and he gets revenge on her: Buries her alive in a coffin with her lover that he had already killed. That is different since she already had planned on killing him.
meerkat stew Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 Don't watch that "Woman Scorned" crap, if you want a good TV movie get Tori Spelling in "Co-Ed Call Girl." Now -that's- cheezy entertainment goodness. Meredith Baxter Birney does pull her weight pretty good too though, she's kinda the queen of the tv movie hive.
dreamergrl Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 What about Fargo... did that dude chop up his wife?
theBrokenMuse Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 That is different since she already had planned on killing him. Hey, I am just throwing out the movies as I think of them. Most of the movies where the woman kills the man they make the man out to be a monster that deserves it. When they make movies about men killing or trying to kill their wives, it's usually because the man is a monster. Hollywood really sucks at coming out with new material. The two that I quoted were the only ones I can think of off the top of my head in which the man kills the wife and you don't feel sorry for the woman.
dazzle22 Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 I hate women. Why don't you and Woggle shack up together? You sound like the perfect match for each other...

How about Double Jeopardy?
meerkat stew Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 Hollywood really sucks at coming out with new material. I used to call Lifetime the "Evil White Man Network."
dreamergrl Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 I used to call Lifetime the "Evil White Man Network." Why? There's always that Network that has the show "Snapped".
theBrokenMuse Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 I used to call Lifetime the "Evil White Man Network." Lifetime is a ****ing joke. TV for women my arse - more like TV for women who want to watch the same movie plot regurgitated into 500 different films.

Woggle Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 Why don't you and Woggle shack up together? You sound like the perfect match for each other... I really don't hate women. Sometimes I just love pissing off the misandrists but I respect women that respect me.
OnlyJake Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 http://www.theonion.com/content/news/empowered_man_murders_controlling Empowered Man Murders Controlling Wife In Lifetime For Men Original Movie APRIL 10, 2009 | ISSUE 45•15 LOS ANGELES—The new made-for-television movie A Just Killing—the inspiring true story of a man who finds his own inner strength by murdering his needy, overbearing wife—premiered on Lifetime for Men this past Saturday, earning the network its highest ever ratings. Critics called the just-for-men TV movie "inspirational" and "nice set of tits on the wife." The highly anticipated movie event is another boon for the cable channel, which specializes in uplifting programming geared toward 30- to 60-year-old men. The film chronicles the painful ordeal of Gary Mulkeen, a fun-loving mechanic who meets a seemingly perfect woman, but must soon fight for his very life after she reveals herself to be a clingy, manipulative shrew. "It's about one man's perseverance against impossible odds," said director Tom Dunlop, whose previous credits include the Lifetime for Men original films Suffocated Independence and Not With My Hard-Earned Money You Won't. "Hopefully Gary's struggle will inspire other men out there to empower themselves and stand up to frigid women who attempt to micromanage every last minute of their lives." Early word from viewers has been overwhelmingly positive. Many particularly praised the chilling scene in which Mulkeen, played by actor Steven Weber, is viciously browbeaten by his wife into admitting he has been having an affair. "I found Gary Mulkeen's harrowing true-life experience to be incredibly moving," viewer Richard Downey said. "Here's a guy who journeyed deep into the heart of marital exasperation and came out the other side a stronger, newly single person. Finally, a movie that tells his side of the story." Audiences have also responded enthusiastically to the film's suspenseful climax, in which Mulkeen narrowly escapes his wife's nagging clutches by throttling her to death in order to save himself from going out to yet another French restaurant. "I was touched by the moment when Gary realized he could murder his controlling wife, get away with it, and go on to lead a normal, happy life on his own," Lifetime for Men devotee Gary Zander said. "A life free of shrill accusations and neediness, where he might one day enjoy multiple exciting lovers at once and choose to spend all of his income on classic muscle cars." "Plus, it worked out that he got all the life insurance money, which was awesome," Zander added. Lifetime for Men debuted the original television movie as part of its spring schedule. Other programs in the new lineup include the weekly drama series A Life Unburdened, starring Treat Williams as a man who enjoys a series of meaningless sexual encounters and then dies rich and happy, and the hit Catching Up, in which two old college friends get together to drink cheap beer and eat sandwiches for 60 minutes. "At Lifetime for Men, we strive to create programming that reflects the unique problems and issues confronting today's man," said Lifetime for Men president and CEO Fred Rasmussen. "We like to think of it as sort of an entertainment roundtable, wherein we can finally address some of the frustrations that have been holding men back and keeping them from realizing their desire to do absolutely anything they want." Rasmussen reported that production has already begun on a sequel to A Just Killing, which follows Mulkeen as he summons the courage to leave his dead wife's demanding sister after she becomes overly attached following their fifth night of sex together.
DiscoChick Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 BrokenMuse, I love both those movies. Secret Window and Buried Alive just make me laugh until I cry. I don't feel sorry for crazy women. You can't kill a person because they cheated or walked out.
dazzle22 Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 I really don't hate women. Sometimes I just love pissing off the misandrists but I respect women that respect me. I am glad you finally clarified that! By the way, for the record, I LOVE men!
OpenGL Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 Why don't you and Woggle shack up together? You sound like the perfect match for each other... No disrepect to Woggle but I'm not into men. I still am attracted to women but I hate their gender with a passion.
OnlyJake Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 No disrepect to Woggle but I'm not into men. I still am attracted to women but I hate their gender with a passion. The exact definition of misogyny. I hope you don't wonder why you have a problem with women.
dazzle22 Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 No disrepect to Woggle but I'm not into men. I still am attracted to women but I hate their gender with a passion. Weeelllll, what can we do to help you with that? 'Cause my feelin' is hating 1/2 the human race with a passion is probably not going to lead to much happiness...

Ahahhahaa, that's brilliant. Would cast Donny Osmond instead of Treat Williams though.
meerkat stew Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 I still am attracted to women but I hate their gender with a passion. Fedexing one of my blowup dolls to you, you want Mandy, Candy or Sandy? she won't eat you out of house and home either
Woggle Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 My attitude towards women is that if they come at me with respect I will give the same in return but if they come at me with a misandrist attitude then I will give them an attitude in return. In the other thread Nikki Sahagin came at me with respect and she received the same in return even she admited to having serious issues with men. She has been hurt and she is trying to work on her issues like me and I respect that. I feel that if we are ever going to heal the rift between men and women that exists today we need honest discussion and both sides need to be heard.
