Zeegagge Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Ok, so I know it's not me that has actually 'converted' them in any way, but nonetheless... So my ex fiance and I broke up after 3.5 years, she had always been straight as far as anyone knew or even suspected. Immediately after the breakup though this lesbian chick comes a long and they start talking, then fooling around then it leads to them being in a relationship and crazy about each other. She said in the beginning too, 'Ill never actually be in a relationship with this girl, thats just ridiculous, Im straight, we're just good friends' but alas, now they are claiming to be madly in love. Well about that same time I met this girl, she was cool, cute whatever and we had a little thing, you could call it a rebound I guess. We went out about 3 or 4 times and always had a blast, and really got each other but I think we both could see that it wasn't serious and decided to just be friends. This was totally cool with both of us. Afterwards we're hanging out as friends and I keep catching on to little things she's saying like 'your ex's new girlfriend is cute' (which she's not) and I even asked her at one point if she's straight to which she replies 'most of the time'. Then she shows up with this really short haircut looking like a little boy, not to stereotype, I know that didn't mean anything, but I finally called one of our mutual friends and asked, and they confirmed! She's going that route too! Seriously!? Two in a row?? And beyond that, here's the other thing, I've had gay male friends before, plenty. I've never had a problem with anyone being gay, doesn't make much difference to me. But my gay friends knew I was straight and never once made any kind of move on me or never tried to convince me to come to their side. I'm straight and they respected that. Seems like, however, that gay women have no problem at all trying to make a move on straight women. I mean that's a huge generalization, Im sure it's not all, but its just been my experience and what I've seen. What gives? I would love to hear from some of the lesbian members of our forum, or anyone who has a thought on this.
