Question about crystals

I have a necklace of crystals (rose crystal primarily). It's about time I cleaned it but am hesitant to use a regular jewelry cleaning solution for fear of altering the properties of the crystals themselves. What would be the best way to do this?

Get some "Iron Out" from Home Depot. It's not expensive and usually used to remove iron stains from porcelain and water softeners but it works well with crystals.
