I d oubt a man has dismissed a woman on her breast size... . I've come close to doing this (because I'm in my early 20s and still quite shallow) and I know a few guys who have/are certainly capable of dismissing a woman primarily on these grounds.

Are you still trying to tell me that women are not as picky about height? There are plenty of women that are taller than men out there... How many of those women will date guys shorter than them? How often do you see this happen? Who is pickier? I see more tall women with short guys than short women with even shorter guys. I think both are equally picky wrt height, BUT that men are more picky about looks in general. LDR Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Actually based on looks men are more picky. You barely see a man with a girl "beneath" him in looks, but you see a lot of women with men not as good looking as them.

I think women have a lot smaller verison of what they find attractive then Men do.. Plus women have the fantasy Prince charming guy who looks like a Ken Doll stuck in their head since they were little ad anyone who falls short of that isnt the ideal guy..

Numerous studies say otherwise. For example, studys have been done on speed dating where in it is always the case that at the end of the night women will only pick 1-2 men at most for follow up and men's choice are usually spread evenly where most if not all the women are pick by at least 1 guy. And this is not where men are just picking every woman. It's usually the case where each participate can only choose 2 people to follow up with. All the women are always pick. Almost every single man is left out except for the top attractive guys.

I again, don't know men who have a "type" or "preference" that they rigidly stick to. A woman can be pretty to me, and every guy I know, having blue or brown eyes.. Blonde or brown or black here. There are tons of women that will ONLY date a guy if he looks a certain way..

As I recall, women were less interested in shorter men then men were for taller women. Not sure how much scientific analysis was done, but it suggests that women are pickier about height. I'll see if I can find the study and post the link.

How many Men are 6'5 and over? I hardly see Men that height,if women wanted just that the population would decerease to nothing.. I see plenty of non tall guys with women Im not sititng here and acting like a Mans height isnt a factor at all,its praobly the #1 dealberaker in the dating world but plenty of shorter guy get women..

I think the notion that they don't came from the fact that lots of women will date a less attractive man who is wealthy or powerful. This doesn't prove that women don't value looks as highly, just that there are other factors they may weight equally with looks that men don't consider as much. Now, an interesting question is if there is a difference "in what way" women and men value looks? For example is it possible that a man sees a hot woman and viscerally thinks on some reptilian level, "I must put my seed there," and a woman sees a hot man and thinks "I must have the offspring of that union." No idea, but though the desire or trigger is as intense in each, have always had an idea something different is going on chemically in male and female brains where attraction is concerned. Or, it could be as some say that the chemical reaction is similar, just that the factor of bearing and caring for young tempers the response in women.

And yes, women are fiercely competition for that 0.1% and refuse to give in until they are 40+. Some women never give in and die unmarried/childless. The only reason the population is increasing is women outside the US are nothing like the superficial media driven women here. The only reason why the population in the US is increasing is due to foreigners having way more kids than native whites/blacks. Unless they are VERY Americanized, these type of dating problems don't exist in the Asian/Mexican/Indian community. And guess what? All 3 of those population groups are increasing a lot faster. I see plenty of non tall guys with women Yeah, and they are over 50 or the guy is rich. Im only 5'8 on a good day so im not gonna say height plays no factor i know theyres women out there who wouldnt date me for my height alone but theyres plenty who wouldnt care..

Lots of women share men. Ever wondered why married men have women throwing themselves at them? because women desire men that other women desire. It means there's a larger and larger pool of men getting nowhere with women.. A woman would rather share her "ideal" man than have an less than ideal male all to herself.
