alphamale Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 I just got home from my first date with Dawn. Things were going good. We were getting touchy-feely a bit. Then we got to the bar and i went in for the kiss and shes like "oh sorry alpha i don't kiss on the first date" i was like wtf?! i guess i don't like girls that don't do kissy kissy on the first date... i don't know if i'm going to call her again but then again she may be blowing me off although she was giving off mostly positive vibes - she didn't mind holding hands and me putting my arm around her what gives?
TheLoneSock Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 She sounds flaky, uptight and boring. It's just a kiss, seriously - it's 2010. I'm sure you can find someone more compatible with you alpha. You know, someone that doesn't shy from basic intimacy.
Author alphamale Posted January 17, 2010 Author Posted January 17, 2010 She sounds flaky' date=' uptight and boring.[/quote'] no actually she wasn't any of those things It's just a kiss, seriously - it's 2010. yea i know
Leia Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 She's saving her lips for the right person. Who knows.
Author alphamale Posted January 17, 2010 Author Posted January 17, 2010 She's saving her lips for the right person. Who knows. she had small scandinavian lips, like a tube of lipstick would last her three years
TheLoneSock Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 she had small scandinavian lips, like a tube of lipstick would last her three years That's kind of gross. I have pretty supple lips for a guy, I expect the girl to have even nicer ones. I would feel far too weird kissing a girl with straight, tight lips. Lol!
Leia Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 she had small scandinavian lips, like a tube of lipstick would last her three years Get her Benefit lip gloss. Can last last her more than 3 years! So you're not going to call her again?
Johnny M Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 What do you expect from a woman named after a dish washing detergent....
Art_Critic Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 My theory on that type of statement from a woman is that she isn't into you.. Something to remember.. If she was hot for you she would've let you kiss her.. It is after all only a kiss Of all the relationships that I have had.. including 2 marriages the ONLY thing they have all had in common is a kiss on the first date happened. This was research I did on my own dating life because I noticed a pattern that when the kiss didn't happen on the first date it didn't go anywhere no matter how many dates we went on.. Of course this was my life.. so take my advice with a grain of salt...

Author alphamale Posted January 17, 2010 Author Posted January 17, 2010 So you're not going to call her again? after reading A_C's post probably not. i think he is right and my personal experience backs up what he says...
Leia Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 after reading A_C's post probably not. i think he is right and my personal experience backs up what he says... Save your money for the lip gloss for someone else with fuller lips
Author alphamale Posted January 17, 2010 Author Posted January 17, 2010 What do you expect from a woman named after a dish washing detergent.... at least her name wasn't palmolive
Author alphamale Posted January 17, 2010 Author Posted January 17, 2010 its ok i've got some other chicks getting ready to taxi on the runway
Art_Critic Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 after reading A_C's post probably not. i think he is right and my personal experience backs up what he says... It's funny though that I got to a point when dating that I made it part of my mission to nail that kiss on the first date just so I would know the date had a chance to go forward.. The things I used to do to sometimes to steal those lips... Those poor women never had a chance

SadandConfusedWA Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Women with thin lips tend to be mean biatches.
ella23 Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Women with thin lips tend to be mean biatches. lol That is quite true sometimes actually.
counterman Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 So, would you say that if a girl doesn't want a kiss on your first date, it's a lack of interest (even with the conservative ones)?

Maybe she's afraid of oral herpes or cooties or something?
Author alphamale Posted January 17, 2010 Author Posted January 17, 2010 So, would you say that if a girl doesn't want a kiss on your first date, it's a lack of interest (even with the conservative ones)? seems like it but i'm not sure...like i said all her vibes were positive except for the kiss thing
zetkin Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 The only time I refused kissing a guy on a first date was when I just broke up with my first bf and I was simply not ready for any kind of new relationship - I just couldn't imagine kissing that other guy when I've been kissing only one person for the last year at least. But the other reason might be that I was simply not interested in the guy - he was blond, definitely not my type, I'm never attracted to fair-haired men.
Satisfaction Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 And its not JUST a kiss. A kiss is an important act of intimacy. You never hear women saying why don't you just buy me a really expensive engagement ring right now? I mean you like me don't you and we will probably get married anyway so why don't we just start off now. Plus guys who want to kiss on the first date are too much in a rush. They are playing a numbers game.
likestolaugh Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 seems like it but i'm not sure...like i said all her vibes were positive except for the kiss thing my current gf (just over a year, and things are pretty much great) didn't kiss on the first date... and she's not the conservative type. so... who knows?
