Pizzaman81 Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 I have noticed myself getting together with older women. I notice some more in subway trains.. I've found some really cute ones, but I know they are probably much older. I notice a lot of the women I am seeing are older than I am. What's the deal?

Author Pizzaman81 Posted January 16, 2010 Author Posted January 16, 2010 your preference has matured and has gotten better... hahahahah!
Lizzie60 Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 I'm 28, i'm talking about like 35 +, to 40ish. Oh... Is that you in your avatar? If it is.. you could very well date a 35 yr old and you'd go unnoticed.. you look a little older (in this pic)... 40 ish.. would be only 12 years older.. no big deal.. especially if the woman looks younger and you look older.. go enjoy yourself.. cause you will.. very much..

Ya lots of people say I look older, more mature. Now as long as I can keep this look when I actually do pass the age I look now... hmmm
TheLoneSock Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 Yeah, to me, from that pic you looked to be in your mid thirties. But what do I know? Maybe it's the lighting. It will help you though if your target audience is mid thirties/early forties women. I can see the allure of dating an older woman. One of my professors last semester was a 36 year old, slim woman with long hair and a pretty face. I could tell she was a total babe in her twenties. I would have taken her home in a second. I kick myself for not exchanging personal info with her at the end of the semester because she totally put the flirt on. Is this a recent thing for you or have you always had an eye for older women? I'm curious because I've only been with one older woman sexually, and I'm finding myself more and more open to the idea of dating them, even if they're married. (fine line to walk I know, but I've been approached by married women before)
dazzle22 Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 Well, being an older woman who married a man 12 years my junior, may I congratulate you on your taste. You are moving on from sweet "wines in the box" to the finely aged, complex tastes of great cabernets, merlots, chards, and so on....
Kristine Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 You look fine to me, but I've always had a mature look myself it sticks with you so you don't have to worry about losing it, as if you did. Do you have a problem with being attracted to older women, or dating them? You haven't settled down yet so you must on some level want someone closer to your age. What happens when you ask out woman your own age? Do they run thinking your an older man?

No I don't have trouble dating younger girls, they don't run away This is just my new found preference... im starting to find older women more attractive.
deux ex machina Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 No I don't have trouble dating younger girls, they don't run away This is just my new found preference... im starting to find older women more attractive. You are expanding your horizons, and developing sophistication. Nothing wrong with that.
alphamale Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 I notice a lot of the women I am seeing are older than I am. What's the deal? older women are the best...they leave you alone, they're good in bed, they don't care if you're dating someone else. they don't have a lot of decent guys to choose from (age wise) so if you fall in that category you'll get a lot of "action" from older chicks. they are also really casual and relaxed cause they have been there done that...all you have to do is show them a good time.

Let us know how it goes when you do... can't wait for the 'details'.. All the men on LS will be jealous of your sexploit...

'til I realized it was true! yeah, decent guys my age (I'm 44) are few and far between... maybe I should start to re-think the younger guy thing? Just not the 30 year old co-worker/friend that has shown interest in me lately... that's just too young and I love him like a little brother!
FilthMerchant Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Older women aren't like fine, aged wines, they are like vinegar. Stick with the younger woman, her perfect skin, her sweet feminine odours and her relative lack of bitterness
pyroguy Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 at first that offended me... Just not the 30 year old co-worker/friend that has shown interest in me lately... that's just too young and I love him like a little brother! Are you sure this attitude is not part of the problem? I mean, older men have been ridiculed for several years now. You know, the whole cougar thing, and I've noticed that often when I hear women celebrating it, they also do it while insulting older men. They'll compare them to younger guys etc, as if no older guy can workout, take care of himself, and look good. In fact in the last 15 minutes, I heard three references to this in the media. Now, I am not insecure for all those "insecure police", and it can be a bit funny at first, but did you ever think that men are now sick of it and have given up. Maybe that why you don't find "quality" older men . They don't want to just be thought of as Dad, and the guy who can mow the lawn. I can't speak for others, but I still workout 5-6 days a week, and look similar to what I did at 25 (confirmed by others) even now at 42. Yes, I know many older men have fallen off the wagon and need to get their act together, but reality check: as sexy as older women are today, have you looked at the bodies of 19 year old girls today? their legs, buts, and skin? Hey, whatever turns you on. I'm just saying, some older guys have turned away.. and not to pursue younger women.
tami-chan Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 I do not think there is a shortage of good older men out there but I do think that the dating pool for older women has gotten wider- these days it is perfectly acceptable for women to date younger men....and why not? Men have had this monopoly for so long...

First of all, I was talking about guys my own age. I guess I should have said decent and available guys my age are few and far between. There's a few cuties that I see around.. work, my apartment complex etc.. that I would like to get to know but they are all married! Or the ones that are available probably want the younger girls... I don't know this for a fact but it just seems that way. I'd actually like to just take the whole age thing out of it... and just focus on finding a guy I click with. Unfortunately with the way society is these days, so focused on looks and youth, I do have to work harder to be noticed at all... so far so good but time is a ticking!

I'll take the guys that can look beyond the superficial stuff... that appreciate a women's mind, strength, experience and everything else us "older women" have to offer!

Mmm I think it's not the superficial aspects only I guess, but the whole younger age == better mentality. I don't know. But I enjoy conversing with wiser women and lots of them are very attractive and classy! I LIKE! VERY MUCH! HIGH FIVE! And I THINK... now just THINK.. and the ones I am seeing actually enjoy my company, maybe because lots of people say I act very mature for my age, and I dress nice, and my thought process is very mature, but yet I still got all that energy and PAZZAAAZZZZ to have fun and just love living life. I asked my co-workers, "Lots of people say i look old.. why is that?" they say the same thing... "You always dress so nice, and when you talk about certain things like life and such, you sound like you got everything figured out" So here's the thing... I am Chinese, I came from a Chinese background, not very strict in my family but oh boy, don't know what they would think if I end up with someone like 12 years older than me Wish me luck! See you in the real world ladies! HAHAHAHAHA :love:
tami-chan Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 <high fives pizzaman!> what will your parents say? They will ask, "can she still have kids?"
burning 4 revenge Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 A lot of women look prime in their 30's and 40's and the only reason guys would say different is to tear them down so they can have more leverage
