Minnie09 Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Why do you think American men have such low value? Why do foreigners come here and the women flock to them, while if American men were to go to a foreign country, they are just another Joe Schmoe? Americans are considered dumb, not very well educated. The school systems, especially in Europe and even Eastern Europe, provide a considerably better education, which is why European women would be embarassed to date an average American. As was mentioned above: Brazil is the best bet.
alphamale Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 in world polls about dating differing natioinalities it seems that americans time and time again come out at the bottom of the heap. i wonder why that is?
alphamale Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 i'm thinkin' a lot of american dudes could get laid in thailand
threebyfate Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 That's where I was thinking he should travel.. that way he could get the best use of his American Accent buck...I sincerely don't understand the inability for certain men, to not be able to get a date with American women. They're both products of their culture, so with similar cultures, you'd think it would be easier and most American men don't have problems dating, albeit most are aware that it takes a while to find someone compatible. So if it's not a cultural thing, where most American women prefer American men, is it an individual problem? If it's an individual issue(s), why not work on personal issues, rather than culture-ciding and gender-ciding?
laRubiaBonita Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Third world and some developing/emerging nations, appreciate American men. Haitian women may appreciate you right about now Go to Brazil. However, simply being American won't be a magic bullet. You still have to have some quality game, just like you do here. You will score extra points by virtue of exoticism and in some cases status. both of my sister in laws are brazilians who are aquiring their citizenship via marriage.....
Author ShamWoW Posted January 15, 2010 Author Posted January 15, 2010 i'm thinkin' a lot of american dudes could get laid in thailand I was thinking that too. Happy endings!

sumdude Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Reminds me of one night I was out partying at a club with a buddy. I'm born and raised in the USA by Ukrainian immigrants so I speak that language too. My buddy doesn't. I pretended i didn't know English and he pretended to translate back and forth. This was working so well, I had at least 4 women in the palm of my hand. Everyone was drinking and laughing, then they started teaching me english words. Of course all the racy ones. The flirting was going on and on. If I had kept playing it out it would have been so fun and easy. The beauty of it was I didn't have to do anything but babble in Ukrainian and my buddy did all the work for me since he had no real idea what I was saying! By the end of the night everyone was lit so I started speaking English all of a sudden. No one noticed by then.. LOL a fun memory and yes testament to the power of being an exotic foreigner.
DiscoChick Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 . I mean Jude-Law.... sweet talker, but really just a scrawney, big headed dude. When he talks, girls just want to f*ck him. Why would you even say such a thing? Not even close to truth.
laRubiaBonita Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 LOL a fun memory and yes testament to the power of being an exotic foreigner. is that why spelled sum wrong? to try and win over the hearts of unsuspecting LS women? :lmao:
Taramere Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Ooh no, not me. It's up there with "Have a nice day" for sounding cliched and insincere You met the wrong ones - that's all.
sumdude Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 is that why spelled sum wrong? to try and win over the hearts of unsuspecting LS women? :lmao: Yeah sure, that was the plan, why do you think I have this outrageous accent?!
Ruby Slippers Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 When I lived in Europe (Western), I knew this American guy who scored bigtime with the bored housewives. He was about as typical dumb American as you can get, and was a poor PhD student. I fared a little better. I could not keep the sexy, superfit Euro men away.
betamanlet Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 I was hanging a couple weeks ago with a british guy who said he has no game and it doesn't work for him. My friend's sister was his ex gf, so I dunno how badly it worked for him, but he said he has no game.
laRubiaBonita Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 So why do american girls get all juicy when they hear a foreign accent and women from other cultures don't? you could fake an accent..... most american women who would swoon over a mere accent probably are not exactly sure if the accent is "correct"......
Kamille Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Didn't read the whole thread but think it's hilarious anyone would think American men are getting the short end of the stick... "Again". Right, poor American men, always getting jipped. Does the Red Cross intervene? Can we start a fund? I lived in France and many of my friends said they loved men who spoke French with an American accent. Just travel and make up your own mind.
shadowplay Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 I have to say this is very true for me in how I react to men who have certain UK accents. I'm not so crazy about the very posh English accents, but I really like some of the middle class, even lower class ones. Scottish accents can be cute too, if they're not super thick. Irish accents are also pretty delicious. There's a smart, cute guy I work with who comes from an area about an hour outside of London. I have to say that his accent makes him about 1000 times more attractive (and he's already pretty hot). I would probably die if I lived in London. I plan visiting at some point, and part of the reason is just for the hot men. I don't react the same way to non English accents. And I generally dislike the Australian accent.
laRubiaBonita Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Hmmm. Maybe it's more of an Australian thing then? Some one name me an Australian who has no game with the American women! i can tell you a crappy american with no game to a gorgeous Australian.... Tom Cruise!
tigressA Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 I would probably die if I lived in London. I plan visiting at some point, and part of the reason is just for the hot men. Me too! My ex is from England; his family emigrated to the U.S. when he was 4 years old. He doesn't have the accent naturally of course, but he can put a couple different ones on very well--the posh, the cockney, etc, and sound so incredibly hot. I had a crush on his dad because the two of them look a lot alike and he has the accent going for him as well, haha. My thing is Middle Eastern accents, though. They are sex to my ears.
alphamale Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 i was engaged to a girl from england in 1991
anne1707 Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 i was engaged to a girl from england in 1991 Where was she from? Makes all the difference in terms of accent.
