Does she have a lawyer?

You can meet.

BUT DON'T SIGN ANYTHING unless a lawyer looks at it.

You might wind up without a home & a pile of debt.

Hey WTFO... you are not getting a lot of response here yet, so I will jump in. I am not sure where you are located - obviously the law differs from area to area....

However, I do work in the law field (not being too specific here am I?) and have seen and heard enough to know that even if everything she presents to you looks correct and is what you had wanted, you should ALWAYS run it by a lawyer.... especially if you say that there are children and debts - never sign anything without getting an opinion. The problem is that in some jurisdictions an agreement signed between spouses can be binding on you, even if it is not what you thought it was or have a change of heart or circumstances - and you surely don't want to be tied to something that you cannot live with. I know that it costs a bit, but it is an investment that will pay off down the road.

Wishing you well....

Well, I don't know for certain if she has a Lawyer. I don't think she does, but who knows. This is a totally different person from when we met.

She verbally said "she wanted for me to take care of my debts" and she with hers" (She put me in debt, but hardly wants any child support)(not that she has say anyway) Is there anyone out there that recently done one of these things. oh, no house..no property. I just want what I have in my possession now and end this freak show. Same goes with her. Now there is a problem with the ring. Family air loom and I don't think she wants to give the stone back. Other than that, I ll take my debt on and be done with this monster.

hi there,

Its funny you ask........spooky. I got a letter from my ex solicitors last friday. I thought it looked fair but i thought i better run it by my solicitor first. THANK GOODNESS i did.

Separation Divorce especcially if children are involved has long term issues too. What if you die...........what if she does. Death benifits, life insureance ect ect.

What i am trying to say is that it is never that simple and you could get right royally screwed over if its not done properly.

Meet her and see what she is asking. Run it by a lawyer.

Just my thoughts
