yankeefan4255 Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 I have been in an LDR for about 6 months now (we met in cancun I'm 16 she's 14). About 2.5 months ago, I started talking to her best friend. I found her being wayyyyy attractive (I'd say perfect 10) and she has to have the greatest personality. She always cheers me up and she's so cool. Thing is is that there are a couple problems. Firstly, it's my gf's best friend ( since 2nd grade) secondly, my gf's sister went out w/a guy for year. He ended up going out w/ her best friend for a month while they were still in the relationship. She's still like traumatized by it. Thirdly she lives 15 hrs away (by car) when my gf's mom is a flight attendent and gets free flights. Should I pursue this relationship? We have gotten very close, and it seems like she iss my gf
norajane Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 Congratulations. You're 16 and well on your way to being a huge jerk. NO, the answer is NO, do not pursue the friend. That's rule #2 of dating - you never, ever date your ex-gf's friend. Rule #1 is you never, ever cheat on your gf with her friend. Forget the friend. She's not anyone's friend if she's all flirty with you when she KNOWS her friend likes you and is your gf. That means she'll eventually treat you badly too. Since you don't seem to care much for your gf, break up with her. Then find someone to date in your own city.
