Zeegagge Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 I'm looking at this forum and we have 'hate your ex here', 'love yourself here', 'write here instead of contacting' etc. etc. All very good stuff and quite clever, unfortunately none of them seem to fit my situation. I don't have any desire to contact her, don't have any disrespect for her, don't have any lack of respect for myself. I don't want her back because I know it would never work, all it comes down to is, I just plain miss her! Miss the good times, not the bad of course and now I'm bored. There's no one here to talk to, no one here to love, no one here to love me back. I don't even need all that, but seriously the loneliness is going to take some getting used to. So let's chat. Maybe I should have called this post the 'I'm bored let's talk about something else post' (mods?) So what are we talking about? I say cars, mostly because I don't know a lot about football. Yah so I used to have a Subaru STI, it was faaaaaaast... take it away!
McGrupp Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 i punched a kid in the face over nye. he drives an STI. it was sweet

This one is easy...you need to realize and understand that you don't necessarily miss her...you miss being in a relationship...having someone to do things with...having someone there to hold at night, so to speak...you don't need her to get that companionship...friends, family, or even someone new...you just have to separate the feeling of loneliness from her...it'll make things a lot easier... Yah so I used to have a Subaru STI, it was faaaaaaast... take it away! I have a boosted S2000. But I must admit, those STI's are insane...
DenverBachelor Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 I miss my ex, yes. I miss my ex ex a little less. My ex ex ex a little less so ... etc. You don't share a part of your heart and life with someone and not miss them. You do adapt and learn to love again. There's no magic pill to take for missing someone. It's just a part of life we all have to deal with as we get older. We'll love and lose in so many ways. We just have to be careful about going down the jaded path. To love and lose is really better than never having loved at all -- you just don't see it right after the losing the love part.

GrayClouds Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 I want to give a well study but sensitive soliloquize in rumination to your predicament but it is 3:30 am and I just do not have it in me. So instead I will do as you requested and talk cars. Actually that is not true. I will talk trucks. For I have not own anything but a truck for many of year. I sure that if you put me on the psychologist couch there would be some analysis about the toy truck I lost as a child and never got over or possible something to do with reinforcing my sexual identity. That all may be true but it does not discount the fact I won a truck. Right now I own two, One that is old and does not run. Soon will be going to the elephant grave yard for dead trucks...the junk yard. The other. It is really old and is currently my main semi dependable ride. Yes it is 26 years old, it would never help me pick of a chick (unless your talking about the kind at the hatchery), it is slow as piss 0-60 in three days, and while it is in good shape it is aging quickly. But you know what? Climbing into it every morning, crossing my fingers that it starts, and then heading down the road usually puts a big ass smile on my face. So I drive a truck. .
nobmagnet Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 ohhhhhh forgot.. MG Midget too!!!!!!! Nob x
Crusoe Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 ohhhhhh forgot.. MG Midget too!!!!!!! Nob x Cute car, always brings back some fond memories. Zee, shortly after I split with my ex, I thought to hell with it and treated myself to a little Dax 427 Cobra. It was a bit scruffy and banged up but looks don't matter when you've got that V8 rumble and nearly 400bph making you're guts go squirmy. Sure was a great way to shake off those post break up blues....
gaudi Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 ohhhhhh forgot.. MG Midget too!!!!!!! Nob x Yeah that you and your Dad re-built from scratch with your own bare hands !!! Don't sell yourself short Nob!!
annxxdisaster Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 Yah so I used to have a Subaru STI, it was faaaaaaast... My ex is a Subaru Mechanic, he's real busy this season with work... you should take yours in there to give him a little more of a headache.
Author Zeegagge Posted January 13, 2010 Author Posted January 13, 2010 Unfortunately I no longer have the Subaru, now I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland, an old Land Cruiser and a Suzuki Sidekick. All fun stuff! Given of course, I never actually know which one's going to run... Hey USMC, how much boost were you running on that S2000? And uh Grayclouds, maybe when you're a little more rested I'll still take that soliloquize (sp?). Im trying to be upbeat but there's something lurking just below the surface.
nobmagnet Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 need to find a piccie of her!!!!!!!! bits then made ] ta guudi! xxx
USMCHokie Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 Hey USMC, how much boost were you running on that S2000? 22 lbs... I miss my ex too...it's been almost 6 months since the breakup...about 4 months NC...you mentioned before that nothing in the various threads in this forum seem to fit your situation...but rest assured, if you wipe away all the bullsh*t, each situation will fit neatly into one of the few basic situations that have been discussed here...

What year is that Land Cruiser?
Author Zeegagge Posted January 14, 2010 Author Posted January 14, 2010 What year is that Land Cruiser? It's a 1991 ShopCruiser at the moment. Took it to get a new battery and the starter rebuilt, then the brakes failed completely, had drive home at 5 miles an hour in low gear and still put it on the curb a few times to stop it. Anyhow it'll be a monster when im done with it
