The real question is this:

Since you walked away from her once, what's to say it won't happen again? Why should she take you back, especially if she has a boyfriend? What makes you think she would take you back?

You are simply in no position to bargain with her. She has all the power and she is dating someone else. At best, all you can do is apologize, admit that you made a mistake, let her know that you would like another chance and then leave her alone to decide what she wants to do.

You can NOT make her want/love you. No matter what you do. You can, however, make things worse by begging, groveling or otherwise trying to manipulate her into taking you back.

So the process is:

1. Admit your mistake.

2. Apologize.

3. Ask to reconcile.

4. Then leave her be to decide.

5. She will either tell you yes or no or she may never answer you. Either way, be prepared to accept her decision.

Best of luck.

why did you break up with her in the first place?

I once dated a guy for 2.5 years he was great, great boyfriend great peronality - totally not for me though. I broke up with him i dated someone else for 2 years throughout that period we didnt speak at all. after my second r.ship failed i got back in contact with my ex. we dated again for 2 years but the same issues arose - I loved him i just wasnt in love with him.

Its really tough - if the issues were to do with something outside of your feelings for her e.g. moving away or something then maybe you could have a shot.

What you need to bear in mind is that she may always think your going to leave her again which would be problematic in your relationship. If she has moved on then i think you should leave well alone. She's obviously moved on to some extent if not completely.

My recent ex broke up with me - after, he said he still loves me thinks we could repair blah blah which i longed to hear him say, but when i reality check i dont think i could handle him rejecting me again. Also i truely believe that if you truely truely love someone you would never want to not be with them just incase they meet someone else. Why run that risk?

If you let it go i think you'll find that you will find a girl that you will never ever want to be apart from no matter what!!!

Dont waste your time and hers :) good luck!!
