Always A Lesson Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 How long does it take for news posts to post? I can never find my new posts? Earlier today, I spilled my WHOLE heart out and would love to get some feedback. This MM has broken my heart IN PIECES (pretending to be single) and I'm not working and sitting around all day thinking about him. It can't get any worse, it's cold and snowy outside. I'm ready to break NC and get answers from him, but I have figured out one thing on my own, he's a coward! Just knowing this little bit of info and everyone around me has confirmed it, has settled my heart some.
carhill Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 Sometimes they don't take, especially if your internet connection is disrupted or problematical. Last post I see from you is December 9. MM's, cold days and NC are good friends. Plug in a movie, pull out some popcorn and disconnect from the dynamic. I recall, during one period in the past, during the first couple years of NC, I didn't work for two weeks straight and could hardly get out of bed. That started about two months after I said goodbye. 1993 was a rough year. The above tells you one never forgets, if it's real, but one learns how to deal with it. Best wishes and stay warm!

At the end of the post should I leave it --- notification type- do not subscribe? I'm not sure what exactly this means. Without getting too deep into my story, can a MM be cowardly scared to let the OW know that he reconciled with his W and leave her (OW) hanging in NC? He knows he deceived and lied to the OW, whom he says he loves and cherished. Just asking... Trying desperately on my own to settle my heart.. so that I can move forward.
carhill Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 IMO, if your story is a long one, compose it in a text or e-mail editor and then copy and paste it, saving the file. That way, if the site loses it or there's a problem, you have it. 'Subscribing' means that you get e-mail notices when someone replies to the thread. If you check/select 'do not subscribe', you won't get e-mail notices of replies. Your choice. Married people each handle things in the own ways. I got that black hole treatment from the MW, but years later, when the positions were reversed, I was consistent and transparent. It was only when I saw the unhealthiness in the way I was being treated, especially going through a divorce, that I said 'take care' and left it at that. Clarity is a really positive thing.
