yeex Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 hey last time I checked, quality women really dig CEOs and leader types. Why don't you concentrate on that instead of these losers?
Author betamanlet Posted January 11, 2010 Author Posted January 11, 2010 hey last time I checked, quality women really dig CEOs and leader types. Why don't you concentrate on that instead of these losers? So you have to be either a CEO or a criminal to get women? Criminals tend to be leader types. They take and do what they want, regardless of the rules. All I know is that I haven't had a gf in over 2 years, and this guy does, and he's abusive, and robs charities. Meanwhile, I donate to charities. I guess that's boring.
yeex Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 (edited) No, you do not have to be a CEO or criminal to get a girlfriend. I would aim high and work on self improvement and quit complaining and feeling sorry for yourself and that should eventually attract a girlfriend you would actually want. Author betamanlet Posted January 11, 2010 Author Posted January 11, 2010 Hey for all you know, this guys girlfriends could look like this: http://www.gdargaud.net/Humor/Pics/FatFaeries.jpg Do you want one of those? No, you do not have to be a CEO or criminal to get a girlfriend. I would aim high and work on self improvement and quit complaining and feeling sorry for yourself and that should eventually attract a girlfriend you would actually want. And until then I am less desirable than a felon
Bejita463 Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Forewarning: I don't intend for this question to be offensive. I am honestly curious. Do you whine this much, or any amount up to and including a tenth as much in the real world as you do here?

Bejita463 Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Nope, online is my outlet Fair enough. The reason I asked is because such an attitude in real life would outright guarantee your dates' names would always be Righty McLefterson.
Author betamanlet Posted January 11, 2010 Author Posted January 11, 2010 Fair enough. The reason I asked is because such an attitude in real life would outright guarantee your dates' names would always be Righty McLefterson. You're right, but what does that say about a society where "whining" is worse than being a murderer on death row when it comes to women desiring you?
donnamaybe Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Fair enough. The reason I asked is because such an attitude in real life would outright guarantee your dates' names would always be Righty McLefterson. It may not be outright whining, but the vibe will most definitely be discerned.
Jaytb Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 You're right, but what does that say about a society where "whining" is worse than being a murderer on death row when it comes to women desiring you? Those women who desire death row murderers are nuts. You probably don't want anything to do with them anyway.
donnamaybe Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 You're right, but what does that say about a society where "whining" is worse than being a murderer on death row when it comes to women desiring you? There is almost nothing that will kill interest as quickly as viewing someone as pathetic.
Vertex Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 You're right, but what does that say about a society where "whining" is worse than being a murderer on death row when it comes to women desiring you? Besides the fact that the type of women who want men on death row are not the kind of women you'd want to go after, you're just foolish for selectivity bias. I've said this to you like nine times and you dodge it every time. You either have no idea what I'm talking about, or you understand that it's true and choose to ignore it anyway because you want some reason to blame women for your lack of experience and luck. I could go out and find a profile of any given man/woman combination -- probably a fair number -- and then extrapolate some outrageous claim that is likely untrue. That's just poor statistics. Women aren't after murderers on death row. If you genuinely believe this, you've got screws loose in more than the psychology department, but also general understanding of numbers and data.
Bejita463 Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 You're right, but what does that say about a society where "whining" is worse than being a murderer on death row when it comes to women desiring you? Apples and oranges. Whiners are not fun to be around. Death row groupies are an altogether different topic.
MissJoness Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Ok. Well, I was chatting with women online who said that they dated the bad boys because they were really good in bed and it made them dickmatized; the sex was so good that they kept going back
silic0ntoad Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 You're right, but what does that say about a society where "whining" is worse than being a murderer on death row when it comes to women desiring you? Alot, actually. Today it is OK to be overweight. It is OK to be vain and take immense pride in your outward appearance with no regard for the feelings of others. It's OK to commit crimes and get away with it. It's OK to have sexual relations outside of wedlock. It's OK to have multiple sexual partners. It's OK to value tangible property and gather it in quantity without regard to your fellow man. It's OK to pass harsh judgement on others without regarding yourself. It's OK for homosexuality to be rewarded with the aspirations of marriage. It's OK to be jealous, because jealousy is aspiration to become what you aren't. It's OK to be a glutton, be vain, be Prideful. It's OK to harm others to get yourself to the top. Truly, only in a world this sh*tty could you think it's OK, or call the people guilty of the above as innocents.
Vertex Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 While I think it's okay for homosexuals to marry, a lot of those things you've brought up are actually NOT okay in our society, silicon.
Author betamanlet Posted January 11, 2010 Author Posted January 11, 2010 There is almost nothing that will kill interest as quickly as viewing someone as pathetic. So whining is more pathetic than violently ending someone else's life? Got it... Or it's more pathetic than robbing a charity? Got it.

I guess if women reject you, it's probably a sign that you are a decent person.
Vertex Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 So whining is more pathetic than violently ending someone else's life? Got it... Or it's more pathetic than robbing a charity? Got it. Whining is pathetic, especially when you ignore the evidence. Yet again you dodge the selectivity bias point. It's like people who whine about how hard life is when they're spending most of their time sleeping/eating. In your case, you're whining about the "skewed preferences" of women when your claims are clearly hollow and unsubstantiated. Why don't you actually take the evidence at face value and make a positive change in your life interactions? Whining is not going to get you anywhere.

So perhaps I should go on welfare and complain that the system is set up against me rather than supporting myself and paying a very high rate of income taxes?
donnamaybe Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 So whining is more pathetic than violently ending someone else's life? Got it... Or it's more pathetic than robbing a charity? Got it. So those are your only two choices then? Being a pathetic whiner or an axe murderer?
donnamaybe Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Why don't you actually take the evidence at face value and make a positive change in your life interactions? Whining is not going to get you anywhere. Because one requires effort while the other, as evidenced here, gets attention without any effort at all, even though it is negative attention.

Vertex Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 So perhaps I should go on welfare and complain that the system is set up against me rather than supporting myself and paying a very high rate of income taxes? How is that even remotely close to a reasonable counterpoint analogy to what I just said to you? I am saying you're focusing too much on an extremely abused minority instead of an otherwise healthier majority. You mistake general, healthy incompatibilities with fundamental flaws in human nature and, as a result, take this to hyperbole and focus on these obviously unhealthy cases where the men are despicable or the women are devoid of self-respect.
