Castillo
I've had this 3 times now where a girl I hardly know adds me as a friend on Facebook. Two of these where at work - one of which had over 800 friends!!! The other is a friend of a mate of mine. I've met her twice and don't really recall saying very much to her. Just like to know what peoples views are on here of people of the opposite sex who you don't know well at all adding you in as a friend on Facebook?
temple
I don't add them, regardless of gender. If I don't know them that well then I assume they're just being nosey
OnlyJake
If someone you barely know has 800 friends on FB and adds you also, you can safely assume she is just collecting friends.
dazzle22
Probably a major "attention whore" who needs constant validation from 100's of men. So what is new with my gender...oh, right NOTHING!
meerkat stew
There's another possibility that these tangential FB friends are connected to someone, and ex or such, who wants to keep tabs on you, but doesn't want you to know it's them. Just a possibility. Am going through this right now, a woman friended me, no idea who she is nor do I know any of her friends. She works at a large company though, in the same vicinity where an old crazy ex of mine works, maybe even the same company.
