If your dream man had hemorrhoids, would you still date him?

Posted

Under what circumstances would one find out he had hemorrhoids, and how would it affect ones relationship with him?

Posted

Honey, are those your hemorrhoids or are you just happy to see me? ;)

There's gotta be a follow-up question here.

You don't think she's going to leave us hanging, do you?

I have some cream for that, just in case she does :)

I heard that men with hemorrhoids have a really hard time getting chicks. Doesn't matter if they're unemployed and short and really obnoxious, it's the hemorrhoids keeping all the women away. It really isn't fair.

Only nice guys get hemorrhoids.

Hemorrhoids is not uncommon, unfortunately, many choose not to seek treatment because of the perceived stigma. There are several ways to control the inflammation or even get rid of them. Anyway, I am not sure how having inflamed hemorrhoids ( and I am assuming, external inflammed hemorrhoids) should factor in on how good a man is...plus how does having that make any difference in vaginal intercourse, unless one wants to do other freakier things, i.e. analingus and/or anal intercourse? :o

Only if he had a large penis.

Most people will actually get piles at some point - happens to the best of us!

Statistically even if your current partner doesnt have them, chances are they will experience them one day anyway - ok they are not the most attractive thing in the world  but hey, thats just life sometimes.

Meh, that's not the part of the body you look at all the time, so shouldn't matter.

Listen up, Ladies and abide. Here are my reasons for concern, over a man with hemorrhoids. I dated one, once who had them so I can vouch through anecdoetal evidence that most, with hemorrhoids are like this:

Health: Fibre and water intake concerns. WTF was he eating and drinking, that caused these problems?

Emotional well-being: It's common knowledge that people who don't intake enough fibre, have mental and emotional issues.

Also, as an example of such, this guy seemed to bend over a lot, in an oddly feminine way. It made me seriously wonder if he was in denial.

Thirdly, when one has hemorrhoids, guaranteed they're not getting rid of all their "baggage", when they should. Being full of poop will do things to your mind.

Looks: If it's a situation whereby the body isn't getting enough water, his skin will become flaky. It's possible his personality might become flaky as a by-product of this issue.

So, overall, avoid men with hemorrhoids. It will end in a painful way. Mark my words.

Nothing more anally invigorating than some PrepH and a warm sits bath. :)

Oh, one more concern that is key to a relationship, from a sexuality perspective. You can't shove a dildo up his arse without pain. On the otherhand, if he's into pain and so are you, the two of you might just spice up your sex life.

Ladies have to be careful about complementary traits, issues and baggage.

We need to add this to our lists of needs, for those like myself, who use lists. :)

I think everyone gets hemorrhoids at some point in time in their life. If you pass up a dream guy cause of that, then please get some help.

Also, why is that even irrelevant, unless you are into anal activities that consume a large part of your lifestyle? :lmao:

I can see what TBF is saying, as to why some guys may have the hemorrhoids, but some people just have them for reasons they are not worth evaluating.

i have to admit i have little understanding of what causes these things?

can someone edify?

Here you go, northstar:

One theory proposes that it is the shearing (pulling) force of stool, particularly hard stool, passing through the anal canal that drags the hemorrhoidal cushions downward. Another theory suggests that with age or an aggravating condition, the supporting tissue that is responsible for anchoring the hemorrhoids to the underlying muscle of the anal canal deteriorates. With time, the hemorrhoidal tissue loses its mooring and slides down into the anal canal.

As you can see, it would cause trauma in anyone, hence why it's important to avoid dating men with hemorrhoids.
