When a man invites a woman to view his webcam, does that mean he is interested in her? Right off the bat; No, it's not a wh*ring out webcam show. (Apparently). There is a background story, but I would like to know before I go into detail. Thoughts/Feedback?
colosseum Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 This really seems futile without the story. And not sure how to interpret "view": as in, hey check out this new webcam I got (showing her the physical webcam) or, hey call me up on Skype let's talk virtually face-to-face.

Webcam invite -i.e. he appears online via his webcam. The background story is, briefly, the man (I am talking about) is someone I started recently talking to online. I don't know him too well, but the conversations with him are quite pleasant. I must admit the chemistry is good, but the compatibility isn't strong (I'm not sure), and certainly sparks aren't flying everywhere -but, starting to, considering I don't know him (all that much). He assumed that if I were to accept his "Webcam Invite" then it would mean I am interested in him. The fact that he invited me, does that mean he is interested in me? Does taking it to that level, i.e. talking online, mean the person wants to get to know the woman better? Thoughts/Feedback?

If a man wasn't interested in you, he wouldn't even be talking to you, unless he wnated something else - i.e. hooking up with one of your friends. But in that case, I don't see why he'd want you to view his webcam.

OceanTropic Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 It means he is interested in himself. He wants you to see him, how good he looks, or his facial expressions. It doesn't mean he's not interested, but it means he's more about showing off than trying to get to know you better, otherwise he would want to see your face when chatting with you too.
