Romance Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 I do not want a buzz cut, i'm not into that but i also don't want some metal head look. I like there to be some hair for me to play with and grab on to, but not that long, really
Trimmer Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 i have long hair... exactly like my avatar and sometimes done the same way. ive been turned down because of my hair.... I think it's because you look like a cartoon drawing. (You did say exactly...)
sparkle Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 For me, it all depends on his looks/face, style of dress..and I can't say I prefer one over the other. But anything past the shoulders is too long. Ponytails are very difficult to pull off (unless you're name is Antonio and you're from Sicily, with a nice body and chiseled facial features). I absolutely love my current boyfriend's short dark curly hair, I love twisting my fingers in his curls (if you've ever seen Count of Monte Cristo, you'll know what I mean) - it suits his whole look perfectly - he's tan, athletic, brazilian, metrosexual.. But my last ex was german - fair-skinned, blond, longer straight-ish hair (but still above the shoulders), very preppy ralph lauren polo look, and i loved the style. One air force pilot I dated kept a very short cut. He was 10 years older, had a mature and responsible look to him, and the clean look fit him perfectly. So it all depends on the guy...
counterman Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 Yep, I agree. It depends on face structure, style of the person and etc. I had slightly longer hair before and it made me look chubby. But with shorter hair textured, it makes my face look more masculine and longer. So yes, depends. A good hairdresser will cut it so it suit you. You can't take on a look that wouldn't work with your face, as I have learnt that mohawks wouldn't work for me.
tami-chan Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 No..... Mullets are WAY worse than that; almost furry on top, a bit shaved on the side, and way longer in the back. tami-chan Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 Tami, you're depressing me with your profile pictures Sorry....
temple Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 I prefer slightly longer hair, I really don't like the buzz-cut! Men who have long hair can be sexy as long as they keep it in good condition (which normally is not the case)
skydiveaddict Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 No..... Mullets are WAY worse than that; almost furry on top, a bit shaved on the side, and way longer in the back. Phew! glad you said something. I was just about to leave for my haircut appt. was gonna go full on mullet look. Glad i read your post!
hoping2heal Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 (edited) Do women generally prefer short hair on a man, or is this generally dependent upon how a particular haircut looks on a man? I tend to keep my hair fairly short, although it is always long enough to part on top of my head. However, within a day or two after I get a hair cut I tend to notice more random women looking me right in the face as I walk past them outside or in my gym. I assume that this attention may mean that my face looks more attractive with short hair. Either that or I am just imagining things. Well, I never liked anything but short hair on a man.Um, the last guy had "longerish" hair but it wasn't really attractive it was just "there". However, my boo boo has longer hair and WOW he is an ADONIS . Never really thought long hair looked genuinely good on a man, he is the exception . Edited January 8, 2010 by hoping2heal
harmfulsweetz Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 I love the baby mullet! lol But that's my type I guess, not full on, just nice and well-styled. The guy in pic looks well groomed so me likey *drools* Long hair on a man does depend on the man. See, I'm more into the floppiness of the hair than the length, I love it when they have a fringe than kind of flops around their eyes. So cute And tousled too See, I like the just been to bed look on a man
OceanTropic Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 It depends on the girl. Some like it short, some like it really long. The hair has to suit the guy, so even if a girl likes long hair, if it doesn't suit the guys face, she would prefer him with short hair. I personally like hair long enough to grab, but not long enough that it hangs.
