Me personally, I like my girls a little bit thick. Not huge but thick. Im just saying go for the Cheeseburger, please. And I'm in shape and quite healthy myself, 6'0, 165 lbs. The last girl I dated was like 110 pounds and I was like blah, whatever. The girl I dated before her was anywhere from 160 to 180 on any given day and I liked her everywhere in between! I'm not even going to look twice at skinny girls anymore. What's even crazier is I found out two of my friends are the exact same way. The one dude is with this really hot girl but tells me she's too skinny for him and he's thinking about leaving her because he likes 'something to grab onto'.

Most women that are overweight...the ones I know (myself included) are aware of it and don't care most of the time. I'm not going to be depressed about some guy thinking I'm too big for him. I'm probably thinking I'm too smart for him. We all have our picks. What fits one guy/girl will not fit the next.

Not that I particularly care, but that list is 9 years old.

Thats the only study that has ever been done

Of course guys aren't looking for fat women, but many will tolerate it, and this is a trend I've noticed over the last 20 years also. I attribute it to women's overtaking the low level service economy entirely and sitting in front of computers all day at work with no exercise to balance. Women also get away with this because men are wimps and don't demand that their SOs or wives exercise and stay fit.

I wouldn't mind my H demanding that I maintain my weight and stay fit for as long as he does the same...also, when he starts losing hair , I expect him to go for a hair transplant....I mean, why would I want to hang around someone unnaturally bald? :lmao:

I live in a metro suburb in the South and the women are disgusting. No dating prospects whatsoever. I'm 20 lbs overweight myself atm due to an injury recovery and quitting smoking, and maybe 10% of the local dating pool is that level of overweight or less. Thank goodness for internet dating or I'd be a monk.

So are you saying you are in good company? :D

Many of my married friends married a healthy, fit girl who turned into a walrus immediately once the ring was on her finger (and I mean in the first YEAR of marriage) and I thank my lucky stars not to have fallen into that lifetime trap.

Walrus? LOL!!!! that's just wrong....don't jinx yourself...you will (fall in the trap)..lol...!

Stew, just messing with you....peace!

Did he go bald due to scarfing up every dumpling and dorito in sight? If he did then more power to you!

Quote out of context much? One thing I should mention is that based on my frame and musculature, 20 pounds of extra fat on me is mostly unnoticeable other than 3" of extra waist, much different from 20 pounds on the average woman, and again, in my area I'd LOVE to find a woman who was just 20 pounds overweight. I'm talking land o' the manatee here, wobble pumpkin patch, cannonball run, have another donutville.

I'd put lipstick on a walrus rather than date most of the women in my neck-waddle of the woods.

My point was that most people get fat due to poor lifestyle choices, whereas people have no control over their hair loss whatsoever. So I know you were joking, but wanted to point out the difference.

Got it-men have that ready response where baldness is concerned-I knew that....:p Still, if I have to maintain my weight AND looks...because he demands it...he better require the same from himself!

No argument there at all, what's good for the walrus is good for the manatee.

hmmm ... that's what, a size 14-16? When the average American woman is about a size 10-12? Compared to the little E.T. with the poochy bellies and big heads that we're told are "ideal" beauties, it seems big, but in reality, not that much bigger than average.

I'm with you on wanting a partner with a bit of meat on him – it's just sexier. So's chest hair, but that's another thread :p

Dr Bosley would disagree with you

The average size of American women is 5'4" - 5'4.5" and the average weight is 164 lbs.

As someone who's got a poochy belly at 18 weeks preggo, I resemble that remark!
