I just went on a date with a woman whom I think we have a lot in common with. We even work for the same company (in different cities).

Anyway, how long do I wait to make contact with her again? I was thinking of texting her today (date was last night) and letting her know I had a great time getting to know her and am interested in meeting up again soon. Would that be saying to much?

I'm clueless when it comes to women, so please help.

i dont think there is anything wrong with textng today - especially if you are interested.

i usually text right after the date to let them know I had a good time and that id like to do it again! BUT, i'm not exactly killing it with my online dating experiences.

I don't see anything wrong with texting her that you had a good time; I don't think you should text that you'd like to do it again sometime because that's so passive.

Text that you had a good time; wait a few days and call her to set up a second date.

Well, I texted her "I wanted to thank you for the grubbing coffee u made last night. I had a nice time hanging out and talking with you. We should do it again sometime soon."

Then she text me back, "Ur welcome & thank you. me too. and yea we can do it again. have a good day."

I know I am over analyzing this, but do you guys/gals think this is positive?

I am big fan of sending a text before the end of the night letting her know what a nice time I had and then following up with a phone call the next day.

What's the worst thing that will happen, you find out that this relationship isn't really going to go any farther? Life's too short to wait around for things to happen. If you see something that you want, make it happen.

it wasn't negative.. thats what matters.

Now just give her a call in a day or 2 and setup something else

btw.. wtf is grubbing coffee?? Do you strain the beans through ground up larva or maybe this is the new version of civet coffee?

Sounds positive to me. Give her a call and set something up for the next few days.
