Dont know what to think

So I met this girl during thanksgiving break at a club and we hooked up. I kept in contact and she always responded to my texts when she went back to school for a month until christmas break came. I just wanted to keep in contact so when she came back we could meet up. So the day after she came back from school asked if her and her friends would want to come over and party it up, in which she said yes. We hooked up again that night, and then she went out of town 2 days later and was gone for 2 weeks. ( we never had sex ). Then when she came back from her trip, her best guy friend was over at my place and she came over and we hooked up again. Her friends left and I felt like I needed to get something off my chest to see where she was at mentally.

 

her best girlfriend has been wanting me to date her and get to know her better and has been asking me all the questions about what I thought of her. So I told her knowing that she would prolly tell her what I have said. Her friend kept telling me to pursue her and so I did.

 

But anyways when her friends left, I told her that I feel like I barely know her but we talk all the time, and I would like to take you out and get to know you better. She was like ok, and what not. So I told her about what her friends have said, and she was a little shy about it. She said she had no idea what her friend was saying and what not.

 

So during the convo i asked what do you think about me? she was like I like you, then I was like I like you to. So i broke it down and said if we both like each other let me take you out and see if we click and mesh then we can build something from that, and she agreed. So yesterday when I asked her out she didn't respond for 4 hours until I text-ed her and she didn't really even apologize or whatever even though the previous night she told me she would be up for a date and I told her that I would call her. So after that text we talked for 4-5 hours through texts. So today I sent a message again askin if she would want to go out and meet up tonight, and I still haven't gotten a response. I'm feeling like maybe she is doing this on purpose, or was only saying that she liked me because I was right there and didn't want me to feel bad. I told her that I would contact her today and she knew that i was but I haven't heard another response for 3 hours now. She goes to school 3 hours away, but I am pretty confused overall. We mesh great when we see each other in person and for what she said a couple nights ago to me I thought I was golden. I think maybe i went kinda hardcore by opening up but I felt like it was necessary if this was going to go anywhere. She said she had a dinner thing tonight but I feel that she could still let me know if she could or could not do it by sending a quick message. I don't know what to think. Idk if I should pursue anymore or not, this girl is really confusin me. But the odds of her blowin to messages off is kinda fishy. I don't know.

 

 

We talked about also how its tough to get something goin when weve only known each other for so long, but I said if we like each other lets give it a try and if I dedicate myself to a girl its 100% and she really liked that. She got out of a 2.5 year relationship a few months ago and maybe she is scared of being hurt again. Any advice would help. thanks a lot.
