So last week I went to see a friend of mine's band play. My ex of a few months (we dated for 2+ years and who also became friends with my buddy in the band) showed up. I have not been talking to her and she is dating her ex-bf, the one before me.

She came up to me and said 'hi' and i was not an ass and told her hello. I basically ignored her as I was with some other friends. Later that night I get a text message from her with frown faces with tears. I didn't respond. I continued to have fun and danced the night away with some women, one of whom I am interested in.

At the end of the night, she came up to me and gave me a big hug good bye...then she kissed me on the lips. I was very shocked by this since we have not talked, grown apart and she is now dating someone else.

We go our seperate ways and I go with some friends to another bar. As soon as I get to the other bar (now its about 130-2 in the morning), she calls me..I ignore her. Then the next morning she calls me again and I answer and she was pissed I didnt answer the phone the night before. I told her I was out. She then told me Happy New Year and that she had fun.

What is going on? Why is she doing all this flirting again? I just want to go tell the guy she is dating to 'run away' she is nuts....

Was she intoxicated when she kissed you on the lips? Do you really want to get back with her at the end of the day or do you want to move on? By posting on here it seems like you may want things to work out. Am I off base here?

She saw you dancing with other people, seemingly having moved on with your life and she probably thought about what her life has become and was trying to get the good times out of you in a number of minutes...like nothing ever happened. That's the biggest slap in the face to me.

My ex tried to get me fired from my job and then truned around one day after we had broke up and asked me how the process was going with the "dream job" that I applied for. I was like WTF? You obviously couldn't care less about my well being, why would you ask me this? So I know how that kiss must have felt.

She doesn't know what she wants, she's a loose cannon and is probably unhappy with her situation. It's not your problem anymore...that's unless you want it to be...

No she was not drunk at all.

I know what you man by saying it just felt like a slap in the face. I just don't know why she would do someting like that now that she has moved on. I havent talked to her since this incident but it just baffles me as to why?

I know how pissed off she would be if I did exactly what she did....

I may get hammered here but I find and believe that women play games so much more then men. She playing you like you said if you did that she would be mad at you. Just think she kissed you and went back that night and had sex with another.

I lived it. NC

Games and Breadcrumb throwing is gender neutral.

Maybe but being a male who never believed or played games I'm sure it's about even.

Never understood the purpose or reason?

Hooo boy, that is ONE MESSED UP MOVE. It's generally an ego thing. It usually is. Hook 'em, make 'em want, then leave 'em wanting. It's fun for the players, but nasty to the affected.

Don't tell the guy about this chick. He won't believe you and will more likely think that you have ulterior motives. You'll look guiltier of having a hidden agenda anyway, no matter how well you explain yourself. Some things are better learned through experience. I think you can attest to that.

She represents the female gender very poorly with that calculated move. I really hope she grows up and doesn't do it to anyone else. It's really good to see that you don't seem to be affected by it & are more curious about her actions more than "Does this mean she wants me back?"

You should tell her b/f that she came up to you and kissed you on the lips :)

I would :)

Oh CaliGuy. Revenge is understandably sweet. :D Good to see you're still around! Your guides are still very awesome.

OP, I'm sorry for the threadjack. How's things w/ the situation?

I've never done revenge before this one and at my age I never thought I would. This one deserved it and it was great. It's been about two weeks and I never felt better.

No feeling at all and she still goes out of her way to try to see me, Oh Well.
