luvflower Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 So, it seems normal for men to ask women for sex regularly(whether in a relationship or not), but when and if a woman asks a man for money or help with bills just as much as he asks her for sex, the woman is considered crazy, a gold digger or worse, a whore... Why?

Not only that, even in a commited relationship, if youre not married, you should be financially responsible and independent. If youre living beyond your means then you need to scale down your expenses. Dont be a leach.

Women use sex to get men who have money. So it's just a cycle that occurs through all levels of life because without women money would be useless to men. But without money, men would be useless to women.

I said asking for money just as much as they ASK, not GET, sex. Doesn't have to be compensation for sex...just the regularity of their asking for it.

I don't ask women if I can kiss them and I don't ask them if I can have sex with them. Never have, never will. They can do as they wish to do. Funnily, my stbx never asked me for money either. Sex is for the pleasure of BOTH people in the relationship and BOTH parties having sex are being gratified by the act.. Money has absolutely nothing to do with this equation.. unless you are equating that a man pay for sex. A woman asking a man for money on a regular basis is a gold digger and it has nothing to do with a man asking or having sex with his partner.. IMO

So I decided with my ex that I wouldn't continue to have sex since we are no longer in a committed relationship, yet he would actually ask and sometimes just expect sex. Yes he gets upset when he doesn't get what he wants and I get confused when I have a bill that needs to be paid that I can (no doubt) take care of(that's for BOGGIE boy) , but it's nice for a man to "offer". No he's not obligated nor am I to have sex with him. When we were together and shortly after we broke up he would still offer to help me out in various ways,I love that about a man. For the record, I don't ask men for money...I just thought I'd get some opinions here. Men shouldn't cop attitudes or think we're trying to play hard to get or that we're dating someone else just b/c we choose not to have sex, it's just that independent women like help too. That's all I'm saying.

But often,the guy wants it when the female doesn't want it or when they're no longer in a relationship. If he asked for money, then hey...ask away, but he may not receive...especially if we're not in a committed relationship. That goes for money or sex.

Sex is all part of a relationship and isn't a one way street like you are painting it.. Maybe you just don't like sex with someone you care for or would rather them offer to pay for your rent because they are having sex for you but honestly if that is how you feel then it would seem like you don't have the highest of self esteem or self respect. Not saying that is you but if it is then you might want to work on yourself some instead of expecting men to pony up and pay the bills of the women they date.. In my world I never paid any of the women I dated for any of the bills they had in order to live.. There was a girl or 2 that I lived together with and those yes I did.. My wife is a stay at home Mom and I pay all the bills.. but we are married.. different deal...

Look it's like this, without women money would be useless to most men. Why? Well money pays for things that attract women (aka potential mates) to men. You make money to get a house, travel, have fun, etc. and that attracts women. In turn women have sex with men that are most desirable to them (ex. makes enough money to pay for the things that they consider to be desirable in a mate). It's very simple really.

No you'd go with the girl you found attractive and who was independent. And she in turn would want something in return from you to have sex with you. Whether it be time, gifts, money, love, etc. you gotta pay a price. That's how life works. It's just one big market and we're all using barter in order to find the best deal.

I know people who live this life and most are quite happy. I just don't like these women who are about nothing but demand that a man be some super rich yuppy to even talk to them.

I got a house because I needed a place to live and I travel and have fun because I want to make the short amount of time allotted to me in this world as enjoyable as possible. Women and sex are part of the "fun", but they are just one (and certainly not the most important) aspect of life for a normal, well-adjusted man. Of course, there are some men out there for whom getting laid is the sole focus of their existence. It's usually the case with men who are having a hard time getting laid and therefore have to spend a great deal of energy, time and money to get something that comes naturally and easily to other men. These men are suffering from a psychological condition known as "sexual frustration".
