Errol Posted December 24, 2003 Posted December 24, 2003 The Buck Stops -- Where? Where there is a good bit of grass for munching and he can watch the does! You need to get some sleep! 2AM is no time for philosophy unless you are a college student cramming for an early morning test! I'll have to go in and read the full article on my lunch break - I remember reading something like this back in college but its all a fuzzy memory to me now.
Tony T Posted December 24, 2003 Posted December 24, 2003 Thanks for the interesting link. I never take responsibility for anything anyway and am always happy to read stuff that validates my stance on things.
Author moimeme Posted December 24, 2003 Author Posted December 24, 2003 Strawson caused a whole fight in our class Unsurprising. Humanity is still drunk on superbia. Once we humans accept that we are flawed, struggling beings and drop the pretense that we behave as though we are rational beings, we'll then become the people we think we are now LOL. 2AM is no time for philosophy Au contraire, I think folks tend to be at their most philosophical in the middle of the night
bark Posted December 24, 2003 Posted December 24, 2003 A very interesting link, moimeme. I especially like the Schopenhauer qoute, which I've stolen. Keep these fascinating links coming!
