I have to admit my anecdotal sampling bears out some of what's being asserted here, especially Wog's comment about how some women's past choices affect how they're perceived; their aura. In a way, I find it quite sad, especially for those my age. Life has indeed taken its toll. The key is in identifying the damaged ones and remaining politely clear of them. I've been sucked into that vortex enough over the years to recognize the signs now. Life's short. Hope folks meet compatible partners.

 

I don't even mean how others view but how they present themselves. They have a look and an aura that looks like life has chewed them up and spit them out. I know women I went to high school with back in 1997 and they look older than some women in their 50s. The trainwreck they have made of their lives is written all over their face.

I saw a recent picture of my ex wife and the best makeup artist in the world could not fix her. Despite everything she put me through it truly broke my heart to see what has done to herself. She looks downright scary.

I would also like to add that I am not of the opinion that women want "bad boys" just because they're "bad". A lot of people I know think I am a "rebel" and a "badass" because I am fearless (although not as much as I used to be due to maturing), love to raise hell/stir things up/play pranks, fight for my pride and my friends, and really dislike authority figures who use their power unfairly or irrationally. If anything, I am the perfect man, I'm a "badass" (although I hate that dumb word), always keep things interesting, true to my convictions and code, an intellectual, and a good hearted person ALL at once. But on the surface, I'm only a decent looking guy, whose 5'7, more slender than muscular, and dress in jeans and a non descript shirt. GROSS.

 

The "bad boys" women want are not like me. Women only like the "bad boys" if they look like thugs/convicts, are tall and good looking (in the criminal jason statham way), they want the hollywood bad boys. Those aren't real badasses or rebels, they are just prissy little man-babies who are used to always getting their way because women think they're "HOT".

 

They abuse innocent people (I think it's ok to abuse people who deserve it), they have no pity or empathy for the helpless, spend hundreds of dollars to pull off the "bad boy look", and generally have the IQ of a plant. There is nothing "badass" about them, they are a cheap imitation of something they saw on TV and simply have the "hot" looks to pull it off.

Read the book "Guests Of The Shiek" about two American sociologists who visited an Islamic village in Iraq. Reading this book opened up my eyes, what the western media doesn't tell you is that the biggest supporters of Islamic doctrine are women themselves. 9 out of 10 times when an adulterer or a slut gets punished, the person who reports them is female. The American sociologist came away with a positive opinion, that women in these countries were happier, more fulfilled, and treated better than women in America.
