Template Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 It's almost a year to the day when my ex kicked me out after I had to drive myself to the hospital. I finally got a job back home, and I'm moving back, to move back into my house. At this precipice in my life, I had a highly vividly realistic dream last night. I dreamt that I was moving into a really huge loft in a city somewhere. Y'know, the typical luxury, large bedroom, large dining and living areas with ceiling to floor windows. So there are boxes all over the place (I assume I just moved in), and I'm not sure if I just got back from doing laundry or unpacking a crap load of clothes. I'm folding and putting away my clothes, and across the street in a dance studio, I see my ex doing yoga or sumtin. I know that she see's me, but I don't respond to her. So while I was doing my chores, I notice that she's walking across the street towards my building. Moments later I get a call on the intercom, and she says it's her, and wants to come up, so I ring her in. I continue doing my thing, and she's knocks on my door. I let her in. I try to do the friendly cheek-cheek kiss thing, and she says, "Don't the just had french onion soup." I says, "alright." "I'm surprised to see you here." All the while my stereo is playing "Collide" by Howie Day. -That's it, I woke up after I said that. What I thought was funny, is that, as a person, this isn't the ex I knew. My ex don't eat onions, and she's never wanted to go out in public, much less to yoga. Also, what's weird, is I woke up thinking, "I guess one day we could be friends." and that's it. It was so real, I thought I was in the Matrix.
curiousnycgirl Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 I remember you - I am so glad things are working out for you. I only hope I can say the same in a year's time. Best of luck to you in 2010 in your new job, in your old house and everything else!
