This guy is driving me crazy quite literally!

HI All

 

Any insight would be appreciated. I recently got back from traveling a couple of months ago and re-joined my gym. There is a guy that works there that I always used to really like, however he had never really batted an eyelid at me until I got back from traveling and then in terms of flirting etc he was pretty full on. The flirting with each other continued for the last month, I made sure that I was around him more until I started to get mixed signals a few weeks ago, so I backed off in terms of eye contact/any contact and tried my best to avoid him. Then just before Xmas he was driving out of the carpark at the gym when I looked at him and got a full on stare back

 

I couldn't understand at this point why he stilll seemed interested even though he had toned it down a bit until the other day when it occurred to me that the mixed signals I had been getting had been his botched way of dealing with the situation, so I am pretty sure he's stilll very keen. The problem I have is this guy is gorgeous, confident, always surrounded my women at the gym, with this is mind I am wondering why he hasn't done anything about it ie: asked me out, it's almost as if he is waiting for me to make the first move, given recent events I can kind of understand that, but I am pretty sure if I get things back on track from the perspective of showing him I am still keen that it will still be up to me to make the first move.

 

I know he has told all his colleagues about me as I have been getting looks from them for the last 2 months everytime I am at the gym, this is doing my head in, can anyone offer any advice? Thanks

If he doesnt have to do the work of approaching women (women around him all the time) then he wont. So you will have to make the first move. Also he is probably working on a woman he really likes, and that could be why he hasnt approached you yet.
