Hey. I had seen a topic about this many months ago and can't seem to find it so I will just ask this one.

I have been seeing someone for several months, I really like her, we are pretty official and I truly feel I am falling in love with her. We have never really said "i love you" to each other. Like when we talk on the phone or say goodbye, we'll just say "bye" and that's it. But I feel like I am building up for that.

It is weird because some people take it very seriously the whole "event" of saying it the first time, others don't really make a deal of it and it's just another phrase to them.

I know it has to come naturally, but what in your experiences have been the best moments when you've decided to just go out and say it for the first time?

How have the reactions been? Has anyone been in the situation that they tell their significant other "I love you" for the first time and they don't reply back??? How did you handle it?

Anyway any stories or recommendations would be great.

I tried it once and it worked for me.

Cheers,

D.
