pureinheart Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 (edited) Freedom.... So pure, so simple, yet complex to achieve. We all have so much to be grateful for....what do you all have to be grateful for? I bet if everyone on LS as a total of all the forums, were to post, it would be the longest thread ever, as we have so much to be happy/grateful for...I don't think any of us have the time to type all of it...isn't that cool in and of itself!!!!! Happy New Year....get ready for all of the good stuff and I speak every good thing over all of you! Edited January 1, 2010 by pureinheart
Fallen Angel Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Freedom.... Wow.. am i really the first to respond to THIS thread? I am shocked... I am grateful for my children, my underpaying job (it is better than no job!), my friends, my family, the roof over my head, the fact that I woke up today and many didn't and never will again, the city buses that get me everywhere I need to go, and the free trolley downtown that takes me to the places I WANT to go. I am grateful for my eyes, I woke up and watched the squirles gathering nuts this morning... I am grateful for my coffee pot (that My MM bought me when I first moved in... it makes delicious coffee for me every morning). I am grateful for the internet, and my laptop. I am grateful that I was healthy enough today to run/walk a marathon if I needed to, I am grateful I didn't need to *wink*. I am grateful for people that I have met here on LS who have helped me through some really rough times, and who i know will be here for me durring the rough times yet to come. And yes, I am grateful for My MM, in whose arms I feel loved, and desired, but most importantly.. cherished. It may not be forever, but it is a love that I have needed, and wanted, and in the end, no matter how it ends, i will be grateful for it all....

White Flower Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Going through a difficult time in my life BUT I am grateful for so many things. Got a job in a tough economy 6 months ago and got a promotion a couple of weeks ago. As some of you know my D was final early this year and with that almost lost the house but the loan mod I have worked on for 11 months was just approved and the house is MINE as of last night! What a great New Year's Eve present! I'm fairly young, healthy, and have beautiful, healthy children who bring me so much joy and a reason to live. I have GREAT friends who check on me and keep me entertained. I live in a great community and my neighbors really watch out for me. My car is running. That's a good one since I have no man to keep it in good shape. I have a beautiful house, a warm and comfortable bed, and other than all the chaos being thrown my way there is calmness in my life. I am grateful for LS. I get free counseling here and sometimes some really cool jokes. Also, LS has brought some of the deepest and meaningful friendships to my life.
