I've answered a few times recently(holiday and his bday), but have gone NC twice. He calls ME on his own bday to remind me. Offered and given me gifts since and now keeps pretending he's going to give me something else I guess b/c he THINKs I'll call him asking him for it...? I don't wanna go through anymore drama with this guy. When I don't respond anymore he gets mad and asks me why I ignore him. But he obviously wants to toy with me when I've told him to stop but he continues to contact me. Yes I accept part of the responisbility for responding, when I shouldn't have. However, this guy is persistant and I need to know should I tell him for the last time to stop contacting me OR should I just stop responding...?

I know this can be difficult because of the stuff that gets said when you don't answer. But bare with it, if you ignore it for long enough, then it will eventually cease, and this is what you want....right ??

Yes, I want it to cease.There was a time when I actually thought about getting back with him, but I broke up with him for a reason. Not b/c he cheated but b/c he was controlling and has drama in his life that I refuse to deal with. I'm at the point where I actually don't read his text messages and didn't listen to his voicemails, until I forget sometimes and listen while checking the rest of my messges and end up listening to the rest of his messages. However ,I can't go into the new year with his drama. There is drama that he has and he tries to control me and/or keep me around and give me guilt trips for not staying with him and not accepting his proposal last year, etc. There is a lot of stuff that I have not mentioned b/c I don't want to rehash it. I think it's best that I just just responding and I will. Thanks for your response.

Don't respond and you will find clear skies ahead, the clouds can sometimes take a little while to clear. But i guarantee, there are sunny times to come for us all.........good luck to you x

I made a typo...I meant "I will just stop responding" not " just just responding". thanks again.
